Should we start Rush or Lance vs Washington?

I think Lance should start. 1 vote for Lance and a loss to help our future and draft capital!!

1. I think Lance is a bust. He gives us a better chance of getting the #11 pick in the draft.
2. Let him play the whole game and see if he has any potential at all. He has shown very little potential for us or SF.
3. We know Rush is mediocre. Decent backup. Has very little ability to move around in the pocket and no ability to scramble for 1st downs. Accuracy is okay on short passes and poor on longer passes. Pretty good when he can throw to his 1st read, but below average if he has to go to his 2nd-5th reads.

The continued overemphasis, concerning Dallas getting the 11th overall pick, has suddenly made me very interested in whether that will actually end up being the final selection. How will the forum handle a different result? Stay tuned for this and MORE on As The CowboysZone Turns.

After 7 wins, I did not think we would have an opportunity to pick this high.

I am excited about possibly getting the 11th pick in the draft!

I do not think we are that far off talent wise other than QB and DT. In the last month we beat Washington and Tampa Bay. Played Philly really good for 1 quarter( I know, only 1 quarter, but still we kicked butt for that quarter, other than Rushes stupid pick 6 ).

They see him in practice everyday. Fans don't know what he has, but the coaches do. Probably saving everyone from embarrassment.
Practice, an actual playing a game isn’t close to the same thing

Practice, you’re not playing with the first squad. I could go on and on, but you should know this.

Company line: "Cooper Rush gives us the best chance to win". Mofos was trying to win last March when FA opened and they decided to go on vacation and sit out FA.

Trey Lance will stink up the joint is my prediction because he doesn't see the field well, and maybe he should've gotten reps to advance in that department, but he's playing for the Joneses.

100% we should be starting Lance. We have to find out if he's worth possibly keeping in developing as a backup. At this point we know what Rush brings, we're out of the playoffs, and Rush is coming off a poor game. Perfect opportunity to evaluate Lance.

If you are failing in practice you are not magically going to turn it on in a game. Doesn't matter if you are 1st string or not. Players will still shine, just not at their full potential. This tells me he isn't even looking good in practice.

And who said he was failing in practice?
