Should we take Broaddus as gospel?

And many times, those opinions are designed to get reaction from the listeners/viewers.

Back in the day, there was this abrasive, caustic and confrontational talk show host named Joe Pine. My parents hated him and wouldn’t miss a show.

TV execs learned a long tie ago it’s all about getting the viewers. If they want jerks, give them jerks.

Bryan Broaddus fell into a job because Randy Galloway put him on his show as the rumor monger of Valley Ranch.

He’s been a consistent hater of the offense for the past several years. Yet they’ve been near the top if not the top in offensive production. So whatever he says about the team, you’ll be better off taking the opposite take. I can see how he get’s analyst jobs as he is very articulate about football. That’s a great thing for him. Broaddus is a bit of an anomaly among media talking heads. He was a scout for various teams and ended up getting canned as a scout and is now a media analyst.

There are times that Broaddus has some very informative takes, and he will bring things up that others don’t really see. He also tends to be more honest than most radio talking heads. But he also comes across as a bit jealous at times.

It’s no coincidence that when he agrees with my take he seems a lot smarter than when he doesn’t. Lol. I like listening to him on the radio. He really gets to the meat and potatoes of things more than most. But he is wrong just like anyone else.

He may be right, but if Prescot get's off to a great start he can put tremendous pressure on Tenn to pass the ball.

It’s not outrageous to think the Cowboys could lose to Tennessee with Derrick Henry gashing them all day. Anyone who follows the team knows we’ve struggled against the run. It’s funny how some fans can’t handle someone’s opinion if it doesn’t favor the Cowboys.
