Send him to NE. Definitely not to Detroit.
Only teams that would be buying are those in the SB race.

NE is not going to be trading away future draft picks being in a rebuild themselves.

I disagree with the sentiment in this thread, I think Detroit could overpay if they want a real shot at the super bowl. The only way I'm trading Parsons if someone overpays, and to me for Detroit that's more then 2 1sts and a 3rd, just based on their projection, sure you could put the stipulations things change based on how far they get.

The Lions became a good team when they stopped making idiot personnel moves. I doubt they’re in any itching hurry to go back to making them. They already have “a real shot at the Super Bowl”. They don’t need to waste draft capital to acquire a podcaster that can’t get on the field.

The Cowboys have not signed Parsons to an extension. That has not escaped the other 31 NFL franchises’ attention.

If this was 2025, I would agree with this take.

Parsons is not an Edge
He is a pass rushing LB in a 4-3 that cant stop the run

His Job is Edge has been since he arrived . Want call him a “ LB “ go right ahead . The LB’s on this team are Liufau Kendrick’s and Overshown with Clark in reserve

If Baltimore offered Zay Flowers, a 2025 #2, and a 2026 #1 would you make that trade?

How about Detroit offering Jahmyr Gibbs, Ennis Rakestraw, and their 2025 #1?

(I don't think the Jones boys could get a solid return from anyone, teams know who they are dealing with)

That's a great point. Two 1s and a 3 sound pretty decent on the surface, but when it's pick 29 it's not nearly as valuable.
I agree. I would actually be happier if we win fewer games and pick higher in the draft. Also, I'm not sold on the idea of parting with Parsons. Instead of trading good players to get good players, I'd prefer we gain good players by high draft picks and FA.
However one exception.......I wonder if we could trade our GM??? :flagwave:

I would trade him. The guy is a selfish mental case. Problem is his return has been diminished. I used to think you could get multiple 1s for him. Now it’s likely a 1 and a 2/3. If it’s to a contender like Detroit that pick will be like 27-30. Regardless you trade him because you can not give him a big contract.

Frankly I think Dallas needs to trade a few guys. Martin, Parsons and Diggs would be where I would start. Not sure who the takers are for Diggs but I would try to move him.

Hell yes. I might let him go for just a first, depending on where it is.

I think he would make an awesome middle linebacker but we'll never know. We insist on playing him at defensive end where most of the tackles have a 100 lb weight advantage, at least.
This current scheme is designed for him to play as a LB and completely wreck shop. But the glory seeker known as Micah only wants to rush the passer and get sacks. Can’t do that with an offense that can’t score and a defense that has to defend the run and deal with 21 , 12 personnel more times than not.

I do believe Micah is hurt, but I also will start to wonder about some things if Kneeland comes back first.

Say a team like Baltimore or Detroit offers 2 First Round Picks and 1 3rd Round Pick.

Would you accept?
Absolutely positively yes
He has outlived his usefulness he has been rode hard and put away wet playing a position that he is light in the behind to play.

Absolutely trade him before he gets paid and gets hurt it's coming. He is a me player that's all about himself and wanting to get paid use those pics to rebuild the team with players that have the mentality to want to win a super bowl

Yep send Diggs with him business decision maker only interested in getting paid and avoiding contact get a boatload of draft picks for these guys and invest in guys that want to win like Ferguson and the fullback we have
