Every player should be up for discussion. If a team is willing to give up the right amount of compensation the answer should be yes. No current cowboys is so good they are untradable. Parsons bidding for me starts with a pair of 1st round picks but probably a little more.

Why would you trade away the best player on your team? I don't get the obsession with draft picks. Generally, this team has been horrible about drafting on defense in the first round anyways.

I see trends with this guy bigtime..they should cash out before the pot catches them on this one...

No. Look at what Oakland wound up with trading Khalil Mack
And how did that help Oakland improve?

Every team that’s gone from bad to good hand foundational pieces in place. Getting rid of your best pash rusher when you have a weak pass rush to begin with is not the solution

Trading away Micah solves nothing when you have a mental midget at QB and the Jones drafting players with the picks we'd get.

Say a team like Baltimore or Detroit offers 2 First Round Picks and 1 3rd Round Pick.

Would you accept?
There were numerous here that felt we should trade CD, Parsons and to tell Dak we aren’t paying him the big box so if he’s willing to be traded trade him too. We could probably get 3/1 and the second out of these three, maybe more before DAK stunk it up

Even if your best pass rusher disappears toward the end of the season and is absolutely a non-factor come playoff time? I get it, I wouldn't trade him away either, but let's not pretend he's always amazing either. He drops off every season toward the end.

I agree but can we fleece the other side? Detroit owes us for the Roy Williams trade
If somebody gets fleeced in a trade between Jerruh and an actual GM from another team...the fleece-ee will ALWAYS be Jerruh.

Heck...call him up right now, and tell him your the diposed prince of Nigeria, and your money has been locked up by Pirates from Somolia, and that you just need Jerruh to Venmo you 10 grand to save the royal family, and you'll repay him with 10 million barrels of oil and a few virguns.

Then wait for the cash to roll in.

Hell yes. I might let him go for just a first, depending on where it is.

I think he would make an awesome middle linebacker but we'll never know. We insist on playing him at defensive end where most of the tackles have a 100 lb weight advantage, at least.
I always wondered that, if he was so great at LB in college, why did we change him to DE??

It has to be considered because Dak Prescott has trapped us.

And at some point there will not be enough money to keep everyone...

People seem to miss understand the value getting a good 1st rounder provides...if they won't build a team using FA to augment the draft then you need as many good players on rookie contacts as possible...

Which means you need as many draft picks as possible.

It's simple math and valuation...get as much as you can out of rookies then trade for more than you drafted them for OR don't give them a big deal and keep them OR don't resign...I'd only ever spend big bucks on the 3 premium positions

I'm faxing every team in the league that I'm not calling anyone back with at least 3 FRP's on the table.

I'm also putting it out there that it must be 1 top 5 pick and the other two picks must be top 10. YOU FIGURE IT OUT AND CALL ME IF YOU DO

No way I'm falling for the 2 FRP's scenario I see around here.

You’re more likely to find an NFL team that has a fax machine than find a team willing to trade for Parsons.
