QB Jameill Showers is the second confirmed signing. The Cowboys were intrigued enough by his skill set and his versatility to sign him to the PS. Showers finished the preseason 15-of-32 passing for 125 yards with one touchdown and one interception, and stood out for his special teams play as well, where he led Special Teams with three tackles through three games.
 
worth it. Keep looking for a career back up. Next year we have to draft Romos replacement.
 
I expected this. I think they feel more highly about him then they did Vaughn.... That last preseason game was his lost shot and he failed. IMO, Showers and Vaughn are at the same level and that shouldn't be the case with Vaughn having a year on Showers.

he has one year to drastically improve his accuracy,he has all the other tools like poise,arm strength and athleticism.
