It will be interesting to see how the Cowboys handle Zeke upon his return.
Do they play him for two meaningless games or just shut him down for the year to avoid any injury.

I think it would be a good idea to get him in at the end just to get Dak and the offense some mojo back. Although I will admittedly be rooting for losses at that point, but it would probably do a lot of good to get the offense back and rolling to try to go into next season with any spec of positivity

honestly,. I would MUCH prefer a win WITHOUT Zeke in there to remove that thought process moving forward...God forbid they are something like 6-2 next year and he gets dinged to miss a game...their mindset would already be, "I hope he is back for the 10th game since we will be 6-3 at that time"

Keep in mind that this is the same staff that had Dak Prescott on the field and were calling timeouts at the end of the game in a blowout loss to the Falcons.

There's no foresight or vision on this staff. They can't plan for things during a single game, much less see the wisdom to do things to benefit the organization down the road.

He needs to play in the last 2 games regardless. If Zeke and the offense can get back into some kind of rhythm and win the last 2 games, that momentum from ending the season on a good note would carry over to next year.

No, you don't shut down healthy players unless its a "meaningless" game before your playoffs begin.
Not going to happen, but I see what your saying.

Shut him down if we are mathematically eliminated. Why waste him on meaningless games.

If we are out of any possible scenario of getting into the Playoffs by the time he's eligible to return, sit him the rest of the season & tell him to stay the hell out of trouble all off season.

If you are going to shut down Zeke for the final couple of game, you might as well do that same for Dak, Dez, Tyron, and Lee.
You have Dak play those games. Give him a much bigger chip on his shoulder for next season & to work on improving himself.
