The decision to keep or fire Garrett will have already been made by the time Elliott is available again so I disagree about playing him to save "the Clapper's" job. The season is essential over so this becomes an exercise in playing spoiler if you believe in doing such a thing(I don't) or preparing for next year. Playing Zeke only opens him to the possibility to injury which affects his availability next year and as we all know now, his availability affects this team like no other player. I shut him down. I treat the rest of the season like preseason games, giving experience to those lacking in it. Cooper Rush would be starting too.

Play him if it means keeping the Eagles from getting HFA or even a bye week.

The decision to keep Garret has already been made. We are stuck with this staff for another year at least.

We need to see how he meshes with Cooper Rush in the new scheme by that point.....:)

I don't think so. Jerry presents a façade of commitment to Garrett but if the losing continues, he's capable of changing his mind in a few weeks. If he can fire his college buddy and SB winning coach Jimmy Johnson, no one is safe.

It will be interesting to see how the Cowboys handle Zeke upon his return.
Do they play him for two meaningless games or just shut him down for the year to avoid any injury.

Herm Edwards would like to have a word with you

This coaching staff could be fighting for their jobs by then. They are going to go all out to win.

It's this mindset that eliminated the Cowboys from the postseason last year.

It's cancerous. Reject it. Football is and shall always remain a man's game.

Except for the fact that it’s a kids game.

They will play him to make Garrett look good and have an excuse not to make changes.
If it’s one thing i know about the Jason Garrett lead cowboys it’s winning meaningless games to mess up our draft order and make Garrett look good.

If they're that meaningless, then why not forfeit them and save everyone the risk of injury?

They're going to play him.

That would be monumentally stupid if we are out of contention. Monumentally stupid. Therefore, I am prettt sure we will play him and have him carry the ball 40 times per game because he is fresh, win both games and Zeke will tear out his acl, pcl and will become a paraplegic.
