Kind of sad that someone like Cooley can write a better column that some of the journalist paid to do it. Not that this column is great by any stretch but better than some of the stuff actual journalist pass off these days.

He was certainly better than "The Peter King", but then that isn't very difficult.

You obviously have not heard the litany of shenanigans Riggins pulled in his day.

Also, Cooley is a current player. There is much less respect or tolerance for current players.

Case in point: I have a lot more respect of Emmitt Smith now he is retired and not running roughshod all over the Skins...

i thought the majority of the article was pretty sound to be fair, obviously there would be major complications introducing sensors but you have what 64 pre season games a year? surely over two years you would be able to iron out a viable system that could be introduced for the following season that would have a suitable balance of technology helping the officials without killing the spirit of the game. his points regarding celebrations, uniforms and camera phones i think are spot on and the "forgetting" jason witten was clearly tongue in cheek
