Yea buddy, amazing how after Jones was suspended last year the Titans went from one of the worse defenses in the league to one of the best and made the playoffs.

Jones is a great CB and return man and a complete loser of a person who is currently on felony probation and can be trusted about as far as you can throw Nate Newton.

Its not if Jones will screw up but when.

You'd better hope so, otherwise your franchise will look even more foolish.

By the way, great offseason so far.

Way to spend the dough!

Oh you again. OJ Santiago was a 1st rounder and while he flopped we did only give up a fourth for him. No one disputes the Galloway trade was bad. Actually Jerry jones had a really bad run from 1996-2002. We could go on and on about drafting for backups and guys like QCarter but that is neither here nor there.

You cannot point out a grossly bad move from the last 5 years. Now we did sign a LB Boiman from you guys that didn't work out but since signing Glover in 2002 his personnell moves have been very shrewd.

Also lets not forget that Fisher and Jones are good friends and I seriously doubt that either would go in trying to fleece either one. If that was the case then they would just walk away from the table.

Unfortunately you are coming in here not acting like a friend. The fact that youre spouting this same tripe like you did earlier and were put in your place on left and started it again. Makes you look very trollish. i have told other guys that Hos and the mods are very very tolerant of other teams fans and we are welcoming but if you keep doing this type of routine they may not like it.

You would think the Titans would like to get some receivers for Vince, their current crop of WRs would not even make our 53 man roster.

It is really that bad.

Played well at OLB in 2006 as he was our best defensive player in the playoff game in additon to stoning Mike Vick and other solid games.

This last year he called the Cowboy package which was far and away our best pressure package and excelled on ST covering kickas and punts.

Actually the better question would be when has he failed at a task given him. Other than the Minny preseason game he has done well at every task asked of him. Hes a first round pick in what will be his 3rd season.

He just never got a shot last year. you can take that as he sucks or you could take it as he never got a shot after performing poorly with a hurt quad against Minny.

I love the instant evaluators around here.

Relax guys, if Jerry has to end up giving up a player, it'll more likely be...

1. Henry - who's only healthy 50% of the time anyways

2. Carpenter - who doesn't even fit our 3-4 schemes anyways

3. Glenn - who's pretty much on his last rope with his knee

4. Akin - Zach's signing has all but moved him out the door anyways

5. Fasano - you mean "stone hands" Fasano, good riddance. I much prefer Tony Curtis as Witten's backup anyways.

6. Spears - sometimes we end up confusing him with Britney Spears b/c both of them suck

Chill out, guys-it's not like the Titans are wanting more than a 7th round pick(i.e. a 1st day one) anyways.

you dont sell low unless you have to and most of those guys are worth a lot more than a sweetener over a 7th rounder.

Who drafted O.J. Santiago in the 1st round? A Canadian football team? In the NFL he was drafted in the 3rd round, 70th overall in the 1997 draft. Of course that's irrelevant when discussing what pick Dallas gave up for him. A 4th rounder in 2000 was absurd. Jerry was throwing away picks like Snyder.

As for your "grossly bad move from the last 5 years" statement, you do realize that Jerry was making Drew Henson decisions in 2004. I like Jerry and all, but he's a huge reason why we have no playoff wins in a decade. Had Romo not fallen out of the sky we'd be on suicide watch.

Wow. More evidence that Norm's lost it.

The third for Henson was not a bad move. it didn't work out but we and other teams wanted him and it was universally accepted as a good and fair trade.

Henson didnt develop but that doesnt mean he wasnt a good prospect.

And really i could care less what happened before 2002. Its obvious jones doesnt do that garbage anymore.

Absolutely no way in hell it's Carpenter.
It would be too big of a cap hit with his bonus money. Probably Akin, or someone we want to move..

Sorry this is dumb. In no way shape or from did i think that my opinion in any way shape or form would impact what JJ thinks. I am entitled to have a reaction though i would think or are you trying to play the thought police?

I spoke to Jerry just last night and he is worried about you being pissed. Therefore, everyone is off the list except Akin. ;)

Not even remotely close. You should quit watching football...or be banned from doing so.

Give'em Crayton.

Trade for Williams, draft a WR in the first day and keep the fingers crossed that either Austin or Stanback will pan out. That's 5 spots already filled at the position and Crayton will be absolutely worthless in ST (not that he contributed much anyway). The Titans also could use help at the WR position.

I know it won't happen for various reasons, but I was never a real big fan of Crayton and wouldn't be upset to see him go.

CAn't see them wanting Crayton or his contract.

I didn't read all the pages, but I think you guys on page one are way off base suggesting we'd part with a starter like Akin or a guy who would have a cap hit on us like Carpenter.

More likely, we'd give up a guy from the secondary, like Brown or Ball...they were both late rounders, and they could take a spot on the Tenn. roster to replace the CB they trade away. Besides, bringing in Pacman and then drafting a CB too, it's very likely those guys would have a hard time both making the team this year.

Pacman would eventually be released outright...Tenn is just trying to get something for him, and we're trying to secure him before the draft, so there's no way Dallas is going to give the draft pick and an actual contributer...I'd be shocked if it wasn't a guy likely to be cut anyway.

As for Akin, I'd say we got raped if we traded last year's starting LB on a 13-3 team and a draft pick for a CB who isn't reinstated yet and could possibly never play a down in a Cowboys uniform (not that I think that's likely). We just signed a very old, and concussion suffering LB to add to our team...maybe he'll even become a starter, but we'd be crazy to just dump Akin because of that signing.
