Scaife is ok. Right after I posted that, I realized they also signed Alge Crumpler. They're set at TE.

Alge Crumpler can't walk across the street, on those knees and Bo Scaife isn't that great. I don't view them as set at TE IMO/FWIW....... but I do agree, THEY may think they are.

Scaife is not better than Fasano.

Agreed, I don't understand where this guy is getting all the love - he's very average.

more then likely it will be a 5th and a bench player.

OMG - I agree with lumpkins.................

I like Fasano OK, although it was a wasted second round pick... I still don't get that one...

Unbelievably weak pick - totally unnecessary. I was PISSED.

I thought we received permission over a week ago....is Archer THAT far behind, or am I wrong here?
Nope. Archer is that far behind...

Mosely have anything else interesting to say while on GAC?

What? Mosely likes to party?

Huh, you learn something new every day.

Not much. FWIW he said that Romo was on board with Pacman being signed.

I could actually see Carpenter being a pretty good fit for Tennessee's defense. If he couldn't play in that scheme, he's just not an NFL player.

Romo and carpenter are pretty tight. It will be a bummer for him if he is the player.

If we are giving up a 1st rounder for a 1st rounder there should be no draft pick. Pacman is going to get in trouble at some point and no matter how bad carpenter plays he will at least play every special teams snap.

I don't know if anyone posted this but on Norm's show today , He thought that maybe the Titans would like McQuistan or Free.

Th player included is gonna be carp book it. no way do we give up fasano, forget that thought.. Mayeb Miles austin? since we getting pacman hes gonna be the new KR/pr CB..

Matt Moseley just said on GAC that the player is rumored to be Carpenter.

Don't shoot the messenger! ;)

:starspin If...the player turns out to be Carpenter, I doubt we'll see a lot on this board shedding tears, eh.

I won't be shedding any tears, but there are several other players I'd rather see go than Carpenter...

How about James McKnight? Traded a third rounder for a player who would likely get cut. You would have think we'd learned from that raping and not thrown two first round picks at the Seahawks the next year for Galloway.

O.J. Santiago? This was an all-time head scratcher. A complete non-factor.

Drew Henson? May have set us back as a franchise at least a year or two. If not for Quincy Carter's drug use (I believe that was a trade up in the draft to land him), it would have cost us Romo.

Trade ups for David LaFleur (dear God, we were fleeced by the EAGLES) and Ebenezer Ekuban (the Seahawks - my how they must have loved us).

There's been a few others that I'm sure I'm missing, but in general I'd love to be on the receiving end of a trade with Jerry especially if he doesn't have Jimmy or Parcells telling him which moves to make.

Yea I couldnt remember all the trades Jerry was in charge of where he got fleeced. Funny how after Jimmy Johnson left all of the sudden Jerry started makign horrible trades, I'm so sure he was running the trades when Jimmy was in Dallas.

As a Titan fan I was pleased Jerry was the suitor most interested, especially considering Jones was gonna get cut in the end anyway.

Maybe you'll 'luck out' and 'fleece' the Cowboys by giving up a starting-caliber corner and a superb punt returner for a 7th round draft choice?

After having given up a 1st rounder and about $20 million.....

Jones wasnt the Titans starting CB last year....

Yea buddy, amazing how after Jones was suspended last year the Titans went from one of the worse defenses in the league to one of the best and made the playoffs.

Jones is a great CB and return man and a complete loser of a person who is currently on felony probation and can be trusted about as far as you can throw Nate Newton.

Its not if Jones will screw up but when.
