Dez is desperate to get back into the league.
It's really that simple.
Why not?
Yeah I agree with you. I don't think he would give up his ego and alpha status. The more I thought about it the more I agree with another poster who said that Dez should try the XFL. If he humbled himself and did that and showed he had a little in the tank then I'd be more up for it. But he would have to be humbled or be humble to make it work with the Cowboys again and I don't think that would happen. Kind of sucks cuz i really liked Dez and i still have his Jersey and wear it proudly. I just wanted him, Romo, and Witten to win a ring with us so bad sometimes it clouds my judgement. The last time Dez was playing he was our #1, alpha receiver. He had been the alpha his entire life
Some players can make the adjustment from the #1 to the #4. It certainly helps if they simply age into a lesser role and it’s a gradual decline
Do you think Dez has come to grips with that?
the last thing I want to see is our #4 making a fuss over not getting enough targets
I want as close to a drama free season as we can get and I’m not confident that Dez would suddenly become this elder statesman teaching WR like he is making himself out to be in these comments.
Exactly. He can def play as good if not better than Cobb.He can play the slot, I rather have his passion than the weak mentality current players have now.
Lee in his role last season? 100%. That being said, I would pay a little less. And Cowboy fans who still think Witten and Lee can still contribute.
Why not?
It's been 2 years and a torn achilles tendon since he played last, so how can we really say this?Exactly. He can def play as good if not better than Cobb.
Who here wouldn't want to play for the Cowboys or any team to make millions and millions of dollars?Dez is desperate to get back into the league.
It's really that simple.
And so it goes ...Lee in his role last season? 100%. That being said, I would pay a little less.
