SI: Is a Dallas Cowboys, Mike McCarthy Reunion Actually Possible?

I see nothing wrong it........they both made a mistake but at the end of the day, they are better with each other than not at this time. 3 year deal with an optional 4th year. Honestly IMO this best outcome going ........ MM has way more experience rebuilding the coaching staff than Schotty. Let him choose his own OC, DC and SP coor. At very least, we know what we are getting with MM........go for it. A month or so from now getting ready for free agency and draft, no one will care he's back.
 
BTW......Jerry can hire Schotty right now, today. Why hasn't it been done? As a matter of fact, after what happened with BUCs and Coen.....I wouldn't surprised to see Kellen back in the pict. I mean things my look good him now but who knows what could next and Eagles take a dive, taking his HC stock with them.

Why? It's obvious Jerry was caught off guard. This could be avoided by simply allowing MM to check the pusle of other vacancies and we can decide from there whether or to move forward with a new contract. Only 32 jobs out there and 3-4 years is alone time in the NFL.
 
Mike already told Jerry to go piss up a rope...Jerry's ego would never allow him to go beg Mike to come back after that, and it sounds like Mike would rather be unemployed than work for this clown show. So I'd say there is a negative % chance this happens.
 
I want to see musical coaches to the Benny Hill theme song. Shott to HC, McCarthy to OC, Al Harris to DC and Zimmer to secondary coach. Let Solari coach the wide receivers while were at it.

Why would he want to come back to a place where he is undermined? Jerry doesn't respect him otherwise he would have extended his contract last year. .He'll have to probably put Witten on his staff. He'll probably still be one of the lowest paid coaches in the league. The ownership doesn't care about winning. They never participate in free agency
They throw draft picks away like there's no tomorrow . Many here wanted him gone until they saw the alternatives. He's probably glad to get away.
