Sure hope they enjoy giving up all those draft picks for him. Everyone kept talking about how this read option was taking over the NFL and is unstoppable. Yeah may want to re-think that. The NFL staffs are too good for a gimmick offense like that to work on a consistent basis.

Every week I just keep liking this thread more and more!

Guess what happens when you invest a boatload of draft picks into one player (who spends the entire offseason rehabbing an injury), and have absolutely NO cap room to improve your team in the offseason?

Answer: 0-3.

Reality will really settle in when they lose to the Raiders next week.....HA

Looks like the trolls have really taken over this thread...

hahaha- TROLLS?

Skins fans....whining on a Cowboys message board about Cowboy fans bashing the Skins and RG0-3

Classic.......

Funny....next Skins fans will say its not RG0-3's fault, because of all these STATS he is putting up........Thats rich, considering the amount of crap them Skins fans talk about STATS DONT MATTER....when talking about Romo......and the Cowboys.

This thread should get a heck of a lot more fun....in the weeks to come!

As bad as they've played thus far I'd still be pretty shocked if the Raiders beat them. I'd be thrilled to no end if the Raiders won, of course, but I just don't see that happening.

If the 4skins lose to the Raiders this place will implode.

They call Cowboy's fans 'fairweather fans,' but I can't believe how many of my friends have already given up on Washington.

the best part is that no matter how bad they suck, they dont have a first round pick

That would be the one really great thing if they went something like 3-13 and didn't have a first round pick. That would be absolutely outstanding.

Griffin is a one trick pony. This isn't college where as long as you are a superior athlete, you can dominate. NFL has superior athletes all across the field. It's been proven time and time again you can just use your legs for success. They had to dumb down this offense to basically a junior high playbook for it to work. But it didn't take coaches long to find a way to stop that and force him to be a pure passing QB, something he sucks at.

People got mesmerized by what he did at Baylor. But just like Texas Tech, they have a system in place where any QB they put in will succeed. Actually the QB last year had better stats than RG3. And they are setting records again this year.

Luck looks like he will have a nice long career. Griffin will be out of the league in 3-5 years.

Nick Florence 286 464 4309 61.6 9.29 33 13 157.5

Robert Griffin III 291 402 4293 72.4 10.68 37 6 189.5

Griffin had better stats, thanks for lying- I mean trying. He had a higher completion percentage, higher YPC, more touchdowns, less INTs and a better passer rating, but somehow Florence had a better season? LMBO! Riiight.

So I take it the Shanahan's have been running a "junior high playbook" for...forever? Because the current offense is essentially the same Kyle Shanahan plays from Houston, and ZBS system from Denver used with the Pistol formation with the read option used 10% of the time (much less this season). No one has stopped him from running read option, they ran 3 plays in the first two games and he gave it to Morris all three times, two of which the correct read would've been to keep it. Either he isn't healthy, and he's slowly getting healthier, or he's just getting comfortable running on that repaired knee. Hence his two big runs yesterday.

But hey, keep believing that nonsense/wishful thinking you got going there...facts be damned.

Funny how the RG3 fans were telling us how unique and dominant RG3 was going to be and one should watch out this second season, and suddenly they are talking about growing pains and the like that RG3 is going to suffer from. Maybe, just maybe they over-rated him, at least as far as his current state is.

BTW, Michael Vick had two huge runs on Thursday against the Chiefs. That happens in break-downs.

So are you saying the following point of the poster, the real point, is untrue:

But just like Texas Tech, they have a system in place where any QB they put in will succeed.

I can't stand him and it has nothing to do with media coverage or hype.

I just don't like his style of play. I hate to watch that type of QBing.

I really enjoyed RGIII in college and actually would pull for him if he weren't playing in Wash. That said, i really don't think his career will last much longer. He will blow a knee again. His main asset was his combo speed/arm but now in a knee brace his speed and agility are a tic slower. RGIII with a little less speed = Donovan Mcnabb...with less accuracy
