Did you watch the 92 defense? Guys couldn’t throw at Kevin Smith who used to lock Jerry Rice down man on man and their depth was incredible. JJ revolutionized the game by going lighter and faster LBs, particularly side to side and they used to fly to the ball in bunches.

He is the limiting factor for this football team if the D can keep this up. He's not bad but he's not good enough either when he keeps taking unnecessary sacks. At least 1/3 of the sacks this year is on HIM.
Also the worse part of his game now is pocket awareness or lack thereof. Red zone sacks and fumbles....are you kidding me??? This is not HS football. He tried to lose this game but D carried him.

Cooper has helped open this offense up, but Dak's accuracy issues, lack of pocket awareness and stubborn refusal to throw the ball at times are still major problems. Not sure how much of that can or will be corrected with coaching, but you just cant miss passes to wide open WRs for six and hope to win consistently.

he takes too many sacks, but much of that comes from being under siege, so far I count 1 this year, including 2 tonight, the other 35 are largely due to a very leaky OL

amazing stats for the kid, took 7 sacks but complete of 24 of 28, another 2 lost FUM, but no INTs, 7 sacks and no INTs ... he's weird like that

if he could throw a 9 pattern right ... could have put it away ... he's weird like that

I've always felt Dak's stats are odd - some times bizarre - like tonight

But here's the thing - he's as tough as they come and that why they aren't looking to replace him

he missing 60% of the OL but he has to stop wondering into trouble - I get it - he can't trust his protection - still that has to get fixed
