*Sigh*
How quickly you forget he looked great in the first half. Saints are considered the best team in the NFL with a helluva defense. 7 sacks today for them. Jesus H Christ, the agendas around here are mind boggling sometimes.

Basically. The defense played a hell of a game, but didn’t score any points and directly gave up some. So.....

Question:

In your world, which would be better?

1. The Cowboys don't make the playoffs and Dak is benched for the last game as Rush is given the start. Indications are Dak will not be offered the type of contract that he would be willing to sign.

2. Dak remains the QB and the Cowboys play in their first NFC chapionship game since 1995. Dak is given the contract early in 2019.

I am really curious to see which is more important to you as a Cowboy fan, Dak winning or you being right. If it isn't winning then you are in for miserable 2 months.

Dak is a third year QB, with a joke of a position coach and an offensive coordinator that continues to forget half his playbook in the bathroom stall... Sometimes its ugly... but boy he is a winner. Hes has a quality that every successful pro QB must have, determination!!

Remember he went blow for blow with Rogers his rookie year before the D let us down.... might have fixed that problem!!!!

You Dallas "fans" seem mighty mad right now after a win. I wonder why that is?

Come on...you know what the answer is. They are literally crying because the Cowboys won this game...they absolutely were promising a 5 int sub 40 QB rating game out of Dak...

Losing with Dak is far more important to them winning with him.

Love the win but still worried about our qb. He doesn't throw picks but he doesn't take many chances and holds on to the ball for too long. Which creates strip sacks. Dallas passing game is non existent inside the 10. Either Zeke has to run it in or get some type of swing pass to the outside in order to score. The other option is Dak running it in.

I think a big problem we're facing at the moment is we are not getting our blocking set up prior to the snap. Our guys are doing alright with assignments but just aren't sniffing out blitzes or shifts in alignment. Frederick obviously helped Dak a lot in this area because since it's been Looney it's been a real problem that if anything has been growing. Opposition DC's seem to have picked up on it and are creating looks that Dak is struggling to deal with.

Hell yeah! 2 yard pass after 2 yard pass, with a few overthrows and 10 mile wide throws to seal the game, with a fumble to go with it in crunch time. Pay da man!!!!!!! Aaaaamen!!!
The deep ball to Gallup on our 1st drive... that was 2 yards?

Dak is obviously playing better. He was good on the first drive. Part of his problem are the injuries and general regression of the OLine as well as an organization that does silly things like make someone worse than him his position coach. But none of these things absolve him from his deficiencies, which are plain to see even in an upset victory like last night. There is no reason to be complacent and accept them. With this defense and Zeke the team could win a championship despite the coaching, but the QBing deficiencies are still likely to prevent that this year. At the very least, bring in some competition at the position.

Can we please stop mentioning the qb coach when as a whole it's never been mentioned before. The other parts of your post I agree with.
