Don't believe you are serious. Cut a good young prospect for a '05 3rd RB who showed so little in TC that Shanahan cut him even before he had too. Geez. BTW: Can anybody explain Shanahan's actions--Broncos aren't so good they can just throw away a 3rd round pick. Dumb de dum dum. Sounds like something JJ/Lacewell used to do.

One bandwagon I refused to jump on was the recent one that hauled off when Clarett chose an incentive laden contract over a standard one.

Tho on the face it looked like confidence and a willingness to earn his keep, to me it smacked of ego and false bravado. Yet another media event while actual accomplishments were nil.

A weak willed player who hadn't earned anything before boasting he was so good he'd guarantee his own success.

Uh uhh, that contact never smelled like humility and dedication to hard work, just ever increasing distance from reality.

Another one who needs a good shrink, imho.

Just to humor your suggestion, I would put a bet that he wouldn't last one day in BP's camp.

Lets see....comes in out of shape, doesn't know how to practice or want to learn how to practive, blabs his mouth to the media, and was cut from the most RB friendly team in the NFL?

Oops...let me change that to one hour.... :)

Claurrett= an out of shape Rashard Lee with no skills. Its amazing how the man known for turning low profile RBs into 1000 yard starters gives up on a 3rd round draftee so soon. He must have Reeeeeaally stunk it up. And to think, I actually thought he would have been drafted by PArcells in the 4th. If Bill did want him, its a good thing Shanahan snagged him up and we got MB3 instead.

i think we should release tyson thompson and sign maurice clarett, i mean clarett was one of the top runninbacks in college football as a freshman , he just needs someone to straighten him up and thats what bill parcells is going to do and he will be a good player for us, what do you guys think?

Please tell me where you live so I can go smack you upside the head. Or you can just do it for me.

Clarett SUCKS. PERIOD.

He has ONE SOLID (not even great) season in college. Ron Dayne is the ALL-TIME leading rusher in college and I don't want anything to do with that loser either.

how about dropping henson, signing clarett, and making Dantzler our third qb? Nah, Clarett isn't even worth dropping henson for...

BP did bring him in for an interview predraft, so its not out of the realm of possibility.

Doubtful with the emergence of Thompson, but you never know.

I still remember the open jaws on draft day when the Donkeys wasted a 3rd round pick on him. No way I wanted him a Cowboy then or now.

Someone on this forum was saying something like this about Slo Mo awhile back....

Wow Surprise suprise more critism thrown Claretts way. How about you guys put your money where your mouth is?

I am willing to bet anyone that Maurice Clarett will become the full time starter at the RB position (not due injury) by mid-season?

I am the same guy who stated that Clarett would be drafted on Day One when most labelled the guy punk and stated he might not even be drafted.

Any takers................

Yeah, any takers? ;) I shoulda got paid :D

I would have to look at film and call some people but I would consider putting him on the PS assuming there is an extra spot available. Parcells is the type of guy to either make of break the guy. He possibly has the talent to play in the league. He just doesn't have the desire. If anyone can teach that to him it's Parcells.
