We traded for a guy to put up these numbers and he's currently being out played by an UDFA out of mommoth. I'm sorry but there's no way I can't complain about how RW prefers until he performs.

Now KC didn't scheme for him nice excuse.....
do you realize how many QBs are being outplayed by Tony Romo with higher draft pedigree? Romo might be the BEST BARGAIN IN THE HISTORY of the NFL right now. When you consider he has won 70% of his games. When you consider he has done it under the bright lights in Dallas. How about give our coaching staff and scouts some credit for Miles Austin. What teams has 2 different guys in the same game catch for 150+ yards? It can't happen...especially when it is a team that likes to run the ball and throw to the TE. Some ONE person is going to do this every week...right now it is Ausin.

Count me in as well. I actually thought Roy played pretty well as far as getting open. Romo missed him a few times and that happens. Can't complain about Romo's great game either. Call me crazy, but I really like the combination of Roy and Miles at WR. Much better than Roy and Crayton.

No point in continuing this. RW sucks and he's playing terrible. We didn't trade for RW for him not to put up numbers or for him not to be our #1 WR or for him to be getting out shined by Miles Austin. If that was the case he should of stayed his *** in detroit.

I suppose you are among the group that would rather not take chances to improve our team. So who should we get? What would make you happy and is feasible? Bring out the crystal ball and tell us how we are going to end up this year. How many catches will each WR have? How many TD's will Tony throw? How many times will he get WR's killed? You seem to know all, so please enlighten us.

Hindsight is 20/20 at the time of the trade I thought it was amazing and it would give us the push to put our offense to the next level. It didn't do that mainly because of the play of RW last season and the excuse that came up to justify his poor play such as he barely knows the offense and he was injured. So know he's been with the team a year and for the off season and we're seeing Miles Austin putting up better numbers than him. RW with little to no impact on the games. He continues to drop crucial passes at key moments. But hey I guess it's alright because he makes nice press conferences through out the week.

I won't complain. Roy was not happy with his play and that is good enough for me.

And he still goes out there and plays hard even when he's not having a good day. He'll have his chance, I'd bet money that he has at least one 100 yard receiving game this season.

The whiners will complain as they do about every single thing, to hell with them I'm sick of fans who have nothing to say except to complain. This team went out played a solid game offense, defense and special team and took down a 4-1 team. RW playing with bad ribs did not contribute much except for a big 3rd down catch to move the chains. To me I’m interested in this team going out and playing good football and winning games and they did that period

The team played well yesterday and I'm as happy as anyone else about the win. That's what it's all about - wins. But this thread is about Roy ... and you must agree that he has not been worth what we gave up for him. There is no way he has performed like a #1 receiver. He's been here a year now and has yet to make an impact. It seems to me like all you kool-aid drinkers trying to justify Jerry's move.

So what RW did not have a big day....we WON. Ausitn did. THis is something the Cowboy fans, players, media, front office, coaches etc......this is something we need to get away from. We are a football team. We need to STOP with the self imposed pressure to only APPRECIATE winning a certain way. This kind of mentality is why we have not functioned as a FOOTBALL team in a long time. If we are not throwing bombs or getting sacks or getting INTs or getting long TD runs, the whole Cowboy nation comes unglued.

I have seen this team QUIT when they give up embarassing plays. Heck this defense gave up an ENTIRE drive because on 3rd and 2 we stopped them, but Bowen jumped offsides and gave the Falcons a 1st down. Show some backbone and stop them again, don't escort them to the endzone because you are dissapointed. I have seen this team apologize when they don't win like WE ALL THINK they should. This is a classic case of being a frontrunner, of being a team that is only interested in winning while LOOKING good.

Sure I want Roy to be succseful...but if you want to complain about something, complain about ALL OF THE PENALTIES

We should NOT let the media off the hook writing aritcles about Roy Williams after we beat this team by 20. The MEDIA said we would lose...the oddsmakers had us as 2 point underdogs....so since the MEDIA was WRONG...they should man up and talk about a team they underestimated. I am not interested in the media and their articles about Roy Williams....all that is a way to DEFLECT that they were WRONG about this team and this game...so any aricles written by people complaing about Roy Williams is a way for them to build credability with the fans who are upset with Roy as well. But I ain't buying it...if you wrote we would lose, if you wrote we are not in the falcons league.....then man up and talk about the GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

who's defending jones? STOP WHINING is my own defense, not jones.

tired of those who say others are in jones defense if you're just tired of hearing jones bashing.

Seems to me Jerry also brought in Brooking, Sensabaugh and Jerry brought in Felix Jones, Jenkins, Scandrick he put up a high tender to keep Austin but these tid bit seem to get lost. As for RW he needs to play better no excuses but as what happens many times people are quick in claiming a trade or player to be a bust.

Roy was not 100% and yea he short armed 1 and probably 2 passes.

But if you're getting paid big money you have to come out and play if you're even close to healthy. Roy is doing that and playing hard despite what numskulls like Merril Hoge say.

Anybody who says Roy should not have played due to being not healthy is flat out wrong.
