bc it’s desperation after so many years of disappointment.

Many see it as - “the same story has repeat itself, we have lost xxx player and don’t have the depth to replace him bc the FO doesn’t believe in free agency and now the season is in jeopardy…” blah blah blah


In reality the team has the players and the LT in young smith to be successful and yes peters coming in would make it a bit easier at least on paper, but people are just so desperate that they magnify the impact of the move.
