When did that happen?
He was posting here in 2014.

At some point during the 2014 off-season he said that OT Jermey Parnell was bad in the 2013 preseason.
- I replied to him that Parnell actually missed the 2013 preseason with injury.
- He was enraged by my post.

Earlier in the 2014 off-season, he predicted that Darrion Weems would win the swing tackle role and that Parnell would be cut.
- In reality, Parnell ended up starting 7 games that season including the 2 playoff games. He allowed a total of 1 sack over those 7 starts.
- Weems was not even the backup when Parnell started and Free was out injured.
- Within 1 year of Broaddus making that prediction, Weems was cut and Parnell signed a 32M contract with Jacksonville.
- Weems ended up never playing a snap for Dallas and playing 114 snaps for Denver in 2016 before being completely out of the NFL by the end of 2016.

From what I read, some of those holds were dubious in that he so manhandled his guy and pancaked him that the officials thought it had to be a hold when it really wasn’t. I’m sure plenty of them were true holds but since he probably won’t manhandle his guy as much in the NFL, Im hoping the holding penalties will come down. He’s plenty strong enough to just stonewall his man without pancaking him and that’s all we need him to do. Of course, it could go the opposite way if he still wants to pancake everyone and has to ramp it up a notch in the NFL to do it.
Yes, I reviewed all of his snaps from 2021.
- About half of the penalties were from taking a defender to the ground which would not have been holding back in the Nineties.

I don't know what it is but the Cowboys really know how to drag their feet with free agents. Anyone with a name takes forever or the player signs somewhere else. This Jerry Jones is nothing like the Jerry from the 90s to the early teens.

The league office closed Friday while Peters was still visiting. If a deal is done we won't know until Monday and the Cowboys also have to make a corresponding move to fit him on the 53 man roster. In short, let's not read too much into this yet.

I hope you stock up on lots of alcohol.

You may even want to start drinking now before Peters signing is announced.
I'm not against signing him, I just don't understand why so many seem to think it's a huge deal.

The topic is about THIS year.

Peters is not starting at LT. It will be the rookie. Peters might start at left G if he beats out the competition. But I'm pretty sure he'll be here as backup, if at all.

You’re one of the ones I’m talking about so no surprise you disagree.
A while back someone told me you live in Hawaii. Sad that you just can’t be nice especially with that set up. Always 0 to 60 with you. It’s not cool. It’s actually pathetic.

Bryan Broaddus just couldn't handle being wrong. He was all in with Mo Claiborne and that was largely because HE is also a LSU Alum. He made a terrible mistake in player evaluation due to that. This is partly why he left scouting(1 year before we drafted MC) and was shown the door. He let his heart get in the way of his job. Good dude but thin skinned. I will say this, most scouts are wired that way. The great scouts are good listeners, or so I have been told.I think Ron Wolf once said that.
