New turf at AT&T Stadium feels much softer than older turf. Players weren't big fans of it. Slipped too much

Morris Claiborne and Ernie Sims are not practicing. Orlando Scandrick is.
I still think Dwayne Harris is the Cowboys' best choice as PR. Just more polished than Dez. But Bryant given the reps would be outstanding.

It is interesting to see them running Free at Guard when Red swore it was just covering contingencies. Maybe there IS fire where there is smoke.

Hopefully, it's just until Leary gets healthy. But I admit to being a little surprised. How bad can Arkin be?

Given that they keep trying to find someone to take Arkin's spot, it must be that they think he isn't very good. Sad thing is I think he has been much better than Bernadeau.

Breaking this alignment out against Cincinnati's defensive front was not my first choice.

our best competion yet for our offense and defense. (mainly oline). But dang not trying to have romo injured in preseason because of bad blocking.

One way or another, we'll have a much better idea about the depth and talent on the offensive line after Saturday night.

maybe this might have been the plan all offseason. parnell getting hurt in otas and early in camp delayed this plan. also not being able to keep anyone healthy at left guard seems to be a bigger problem right now.

Well I wouldnt be shocked to see free still at rg when leary comes back to lg.

Still think parnell is a better lineman than berny and would rather find a way to have parnell out there even if it comes with free at guard....if free plays guard equal to lousy berny, start parnell and dont look back.

Last year I was laughed at when I said "just try Free at Guard".... If Parnell can be part of the top 5, who cares where they all play...

I don't think they needed to wait this long to figure that out! then again what else is new

Couldn't really do anything about it up till now because Parnell was hurt. They could have had Free practice at guard, I guess, but he wouldn't have been able to play the position in preseason games without a decent RT starting.

Plus, I think this is a reaction to not being able to sign Waters. Moore/Waters was plan A, with Bernadeau staying in the lineup with Leary/Livings at the other guard spot probably being plan B, and we're on to plan C.

This whole OL thing is stripping me of all confidence in this season I'll tell you that! Two weeks before opening day and it's a mess
