Before Peyton won his first playoff game, he wasn't considered a choker when he lost his first 4 playoff games.

The biased media and opposing teams fans love to hate Dallas. That's why Romo catches so much crap.

False because fans would always call Peyton a choker. Just like fans say that now about Romo.

The media isn't calling Romo a choker. They are saying the same thing they said about Peyton which was can he win in the playoffs and take his team to the big game

Maybe the media doesn't say verbatim, "Romo is a choker", but they question his abilities in playoff situations, which is the same thing. To compare him to Jim Kelly or Dan Marino is nonsense. If he plays his entire career without a Superbowl victory, then we will talk. Until then, he deserves the same chance to go out and do what he is capable of doing.

A lot of Eagle Fans and the Hosts on WIP today said the same thing, that McNabb always comes up short at the End of Big Games.

Um...before their '06 Super Bowl run, everyone was calling him the next Marino(all stats, but nothing to show for it).

Understood. It takes a complete team to win a Superbowl. Thats the only difference I see here. Now if Romo takes the Cowboys all the way to the playoffs this year and they lose again, then I would start to think the same.

You know, now that we are on the subject of McNabb.

I have often wondered how far McNabb could take a team that had the caliber of players like the Cowboys have.

Ego aside, I wouldn't be suprised if he could lead them to a title.

McNabb has had great players around him. He still failed to bring home the Lombardi. If he has a major fault, it is thinking that he alone has to be the hero, instead of relying on his teammates.

if you look at it that way, Romo is just as much of a choke artist as McNabb.

Romo has less than 2 seasons under his belt. To compare that to McNabb doesnt jive.

McNabb healthy is better than Romo.

McNabb is throwing to no named receivers. If he had a T.O. and a Jason Witten he would explode.

Romo is truly becoming an Elite QB. McNabb at his best was a good QB.

If McNabb had a TO(uh, didnt he have already) and a Witten. He would take issue. The Enquirer newspapers sales would go up and TO and Witten would be suspende mid season. Then traded to Cowboys.

Watch this week when McNabb lays an egg and Eagles score 10 points.

Hence why him and T.O. didn't get along. ;)

I never understood this comparison and I'm pretty MCnabb didn't play under two coaches while making their super bowl run.

McNabb played VERY well and kept his team in the game until the very end. I don't understand why some folks can't admit that and move on. The Eagles (and McNabb) were good Monday night. We were better. 'Nuff said.
