Maybe the media doesn't say verbatim, "Romo is a choker", but they question his abilities in playoff situations, which is the same thing. To compare him to Jim Kelly or Dan Marino is nonsense. If he plays his entire career without a Superbowl victory, then we will talk. Until then, he deserves the same chance to go out and do what he is capable of doing.

Understood. It takes a complete team to win a Superbowl. Thats the only difference I see here. Now if Romo takes the Cowboys all the way to the playoffs this year and they lose again, then I would start to think the same.

I have often wondered how far McNabb could take a team that had the caliber of players like the Cowboys have.

Ego aside, I wouldn't be suprised if he could lead them to a title.

McNabb has had great players around him. He still failed to bring home the Lombardi. If he has a major fault, it is thinking that he alone has to be the hero, instead of relying on his teammates.

Romo is truly becoming an Elite QB. McNabb at his best was a good QB.

If McNabb had a TO(uh, didnt he have already) and a Witten. He would take issue. The Enquirer newspapers sales would go up and TO and Witten would be suspende mid season. Then traded to Cowboys.

I never understood this comparison and I'm pretty MCnabb didn't play under two coaches while making their super bowl run.
