One of the rare exceptions to this is when Favre, by his own words, said something to the effect of “ My contract doesn’t state I have to get Rodgers ready to play”….of course I believe it since both of those guys are buttholes anyway.
I truly believe this will be Dak on his way out

What do they say about a blind squirrel and a broken clock. But I agree with you Garrett could have eagerly wanted to out Romo because he didn't listen. Garrett pulled a Jerry, because of his ego.

So I'm starting a new phrase... Real leaders don't have egos.
Not sure... even a blind squirrel can find a nut?

Both statements are true about Romo helping Dak. When Romo was rehabbing he wasn't helping Dak all that much, because he was focusing on his rehab. Once he got better that's when he started helping a lot more. Early on in that season Dak was praising Butt Fumble for helping him out. Later on he started praising Romo.

Holy spit 14 pages on whether or not Romo coached Dak up or was it Sanchez.

How about maybe they both worked to the best of their ability to help Dak.

Hey OP after reading that drunk rambling we need more than just better quarterback coaching.

Just to maybe save you all another 14 pages of nonsense neither Romo or Sanchez or any quarterback coach had half the positive impact on Dak that having the most dominant offensive line in football did.

Sheesh this thread shows we are at the absolute low point of the off-season.
..,lol

None of these guys were mentors in reality. Our OL and RG was that good and teams still didn’t figure out Cole Beasley, until next year and Dak then resorted to true form.

In 2017, Beasley was bracketed, sat on, and otherwise eliminated in the passing game. Opponenets keyed on his out-breaking routes and planted defenders accordingly. Cole Beasley saw more second-man attention than Dez Bryant last season (Dez technically appeared to get more double-teams but Cole clearly commanded more attention).

Dak, with his conservative nature, was simply a better version of RG3 as a QB, while in much better circumstances as well. Further, Dak sucked against the Vikings and Giants his first year, the only good defenses he played, meaning he was getting by with plenty of bad habits and just doing enough not to lose games.

Agree on all points. The truly amazing thing is people making up lies to make a player (former) look bad. Then vcontinue to adamantly defend it. Without one shred of evidence. While demanding other people look for it.
That is the real poison. They are exposed.

That 2016 roster had SUPERBOWL bound written all over it!!!!
Took our offense till the 4th Q to start scoring vs the Packers another continuous Dak-Friendly trait that pretty much ended the dream.
13 pts in 3 Quarters of football at home ain't cutting it, Mr.Prescott!!!
7 pts in 3 Quarters vs the Niners at home....seems you're getting worse Mr.Prescott!!!!

I happen to like "eyeball test". How else can you enjoy the game? How else to...."interpret" pure stats?
People like to mock eyeball test. I call it watching the game. Who does that here?
Everyone.
It doesnt mean a lisence to lie.
