Single most amazing Tony Romo statistic just might be this:

When the defense gives up 38 points or less...
Romo is 11-2

If the defense gives up 38 points and we don't have a last second FG blocked and returned in DC

(edit) 12-1

You would think with 7 freaking ones on defense we would not be giving up 38 points.:bang2:

Gave up 23 to Philly - lost
Gave up 22 to Washignton - lost
Gave up 21 to Seattle - lost

3 losses?

How does a W/L record get applied as a "Stat" to a single individual?

I've always hated how Wins and Losses get attributed to the QB. You never hear anyone mention a W/L record for a Guard.

Well, you should. Leonard Davis is awesome!

5 and 1 since he joined the team

:lmao:

What about keeping records of kickers on IR?

We had a much better record with Gramatica on the team, on IR, then what we've had since we released him.

We will rue the day.

What are Romo's turnovers like in the games where the defense gives up 38+?

Our record when we trade out of the first round and then trade back in to select an DE from Purdue who will be switched to OLB in the pros is very good. 5-1 at this point.

Now that's a great stat! :D

I'm like Rack though... the Guards are the key to winning.

Read my post again. I said two losses. Playoffs are typically categorized separately.

You say Wins and Losses aren't appropriate as an individual stat so I ask you this,

What would our record be over the same period of time if Drew Bledsoe had been our quarterback, or Tarvaris Jackson?

How has our team done this past decade without a quarterback?

Clearly wins and losses are BOTH an inappropriate measurement and yet also the ULTIMATE measurement of a quarterback.

It is a team game, but team starts--and maybe even ends-- at quarterback.

One more little thing...

I guess in your inestimable knowledge that it's pure coincidence that Manning and Brady happen to play for teams with the best W-L record.

Even a QB will tell you they get too much credit for wins and too much blame for losses.

Guess oldfool doesn't listen.

Hey OS, go back to that "other" place. The IQ of this forum has gone down about 30 points since you've joined up.

And for every "Would we have the same record with Bledsoe at QB?" question you come up with I can counter with "Would we have the same record w/o Witten or TO or Andre Gurode or Leonard Davis, etc..."

It's a TEAM game. No ONE player should be given credit for W/L's cuz no ONE player wins or loses a game by himself.

Rack, you remind me of Roy Williams.

Once a hitter now you just have a roster spot.

You remind me of the character Warren Jensen from Something About Mary.
