Maybe, but it doesn't mean they can come together as a "team" ...that has seemed to be their biggest problem the last ....well how long as Dannyboy owned them?

No, Crayton is the best #2 in the division.

I think Crayton is a solid #2 -- but Randal-El is just plain better.

2007 Stats:

ARE: 51 Catches 728 Yards 1 TD
Crayton 50 Catches 697 Yards 7 TDs

Now, you must consider that Crayton has to compete for catches with Witten and TO...yet, he still has virtually the same numbers as ARE: minus the TDs...where Crayton kicks his tail.

I bet over at ExtremeSkins they just wet themselves with excitement at King's pronouncement. It just reinforces Skins view that Campbell is already an elite QB compared to the very average Romo who are consistently call Homo & claim everybody knews he's gay. Of course their whole play on his name begin the very next day after he started for the Cowboys. And ExtremeSkin posters just love our new stadium, which they call a monstrosity (sp?). Have never seen any board so filled with hate and envy; probably like many Eagles boards.

While I think that the Cowboys have better skill players than the Skins, I disagree that we don't have a "team." Three years ago when we needed to win five in a row to make the playoffs, we did it. Last year it was four in a row. When things weren't so good, there wasn't a lot of finger pointing (with the exception of Archuletta). I think this team has good veteran leadership.

As far as I'm concerned, they can "think" that Quin.......uhhhh.....Jason Campbell is an elite QB as long as they want. That will make our wins against them that much easier. I hope that it takes them 10 years to realize that he is average at best. :D

I think the only skill position the Commanders can even be in the arguement for is RB
Just a stupid comment that was obviously not well thought out

:lmao2: Mr. King also had the Vikings in the Super Bowl this year... LOL!!!!

The battle is won up front Mr. King...and as far as I'm concerned we have the best offensive and defensive front.

I wonder what criteria Mr King used for his assertion; and what bar he was in when he wrote said article!! I'm sure this will make some Deadskins' fans happy b/c they've been constantly crying about how Dallas stole their thunder as "Paper Champs" this offseason! Maybe Peter the Burger King felt sorry for them and threw them a bone while visiting their camp. We'll see how it plays out starting in Sept.

The fans and cowboys should not be upset with this at all, in fact we should all look at it as a challenge. I am tired of most of the press crowning Dallas and making us out to be odds on favorites for everything before the season starts. I would like the team to be hungry and have something to prove. So articles like this can help....I don't want the players believing they are good until after they win the SB.

Play every down, for every possible yard, until all the games are over.

How does he still have a job with statements like that. At some point in time you have to show you know your job. This is like Kramer from Seinfeld having a job.

At what position? QB. no, Romo is. They've got the worst QB in the division.

RB? No Westbrook is. I'll give Portis #2.

TE? No, that's Witten. Cooley is #2

WR? TO is best, Burress is #2, Moss is #3.

What else is a skill position? CB? Newman and Samuel are clearly 1 and 2. Spring, Rogers, and Smoot? All good, but that group is weaker than ours and the Eagles.

I guess it comes down to this. Randal-El is the best #2 in the division.

And there you have it.

The Skins have a lot of young talent on offense, more so than any team in the division. They are also the deepest at the skill positions in the division. They don't the best QB or the best WR, the rest is debatable.

  • Portis and Betts are the best RB combo in the East, without a doubt.
  • Cooley and Davis are the best 1-2 TE combo in the division, perhaps the league by the end of the year.
  • Moss, Randle El, Thomas, and Kelly - no team in the East has as much talent at WR.
  • Campbell has a lot to prove this year - we'll see how that goes. Collins is the best #2 QB in the division.

TE: Edge to Cowboys...No equal right now to Witten. Cooley is close.

Edge to Cowboys?

Witten is the BEST TE in the league. Cooley really isn't really a traditional TE, he doesn't block nearly as much or as well as Witten and well Witten is far and above Cooley.

When I first started reading this, I hadn't looked at the poster's name. By the time I got to "deepest at all the skill positions" I figured this must a Skins fan. Checked out the poster's name and touche'.
