IMO What it shows is that "name" gets voted without an ounce of factual knowledge.Martin being on the list shows how hollow of an accomplishment this is.
Totally! Maybe Overshown and Parsons have a shot too depending on how the year ends up. But frankly other than special teams not many deserve it.Being 6th at FB and 10th at LS is essentially like being last. I’d imagine Lamb, Aubrey and Turpin make it.
Out of everyone on there I’d say Aubrey and Turpin deserve it but Aubrey has a few misses….he probably won’t either.
I do believe that is mostly Fassel. He might rightly get ripped at times for some of the risks he takes (when they fail), but he seems to have a pretty good eye for special-teams talent ... and how to shop for it under the Joneses — cheap players. We are special teams gurus.
Yeah Micah is ending his season strong shockingly. I think Overshown is a year away but he’s played very well for his rookie year.Totally! Maybe Overshown and Parsons have a shot too depending on how the year ends up. But frankly other than special teams not many deserve it.
I’d wonder if it was Justin Tucker or the Chiefs kicker if it’s on popularity. Tucker certainly has struggled.Who is ahead of Aubrey?
Someone is going to the USFL and finding talent.I do believe that is mostly Fassel. He might rightly get ripped at times for some of the risks he takes (when they fail), but he seems to have a pretty good eye for special-teams talent ... and how to shop for it under the Joneses — cheap players.
Of course, maybe McClay plays a major role there as well, but Aubrey especially seems to be a Fassel find.
