I’d bet overshown, Micah, Tyler smith at minimum make it as alternates. The cowboys will be very well represented by the time it’s time for the pro bowl

Anymore it’s basically a participation trophy type of honor so it probably means the world to many cowboy players.
Our entire organization has been getting PT’s for a very long time. The only thing I can’t understand is how so many still support Jerry and how he’s destroyed the Boys. We should be renamed the JJs.

I’ve been telling people the pro bowl voting is a farce as third of the votes are by fans. Judging Romo’s roster based upon it, is complete garbage. All-pros on the other hand, like what Dak played with just on his OL is another.

at least Aubrey and his LS Sieg are good enough for primetime. and Turpin, too. The rest are just fillers.

Someone is going to the USFL and finding talent.
It's not just that, though. Sieg was brought over from the Raiders after they cut him for a long snapper their new ST coach liked, after we let McQuaide leave for a better deal in free agency. Anger was a nice find after the Texans cut him in 2020 (he's made the Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro twice since we signed him to that first one-year deal). Goodwin has been a favorite of Fassel's, since Fassel arrived, as a coverage ace. (I don't necessarily agree with signing him just to be that, but I can't say he's bad at it.)

It might be important to understand what it means to be leading in the voting.

Fan voting only counts as a 3rd of the total vote.

The coaches count as a 3rd and the players count as a 3rd.

Fan voting is obviously biased. Player voting might also be biased but far less, I suspect. Coaches voting is probably the most realistic.

If Parsons continues his current trend, he might just make it after missing four games. Tyler Smith will get th benefit of player and coaches voting. Perhaps Overshown as well.

The voters for All Pro aren't watching all the players they vote for either. They may have a few players they really follow but they are mostly just filling out a ballot with preconceived ideas & a glance at stats. Doesn't mean what it should anymore either.

Agreed but still not as bad as the pro bowl. It’s a total joke.

Martin being on the list shows how hollow of an accomplishment this is.
Give us a break, do you know how many undeserving players have made the Pro Bowl off of name recognition only, way too many to count. So if the Big Guy gets in because of past accomplishments, so be it he has been one of the best at his position since he came into the league. We were just lucky he played for the Dallas Cowboys his ENTIRE career!!!!

Ehh maybe. I don’t know any poor long snappers to judge Seig. Turpin was a good find he hurt has elite speed you can’t teach. And the leg on Aubrey is incredible.
