Fan voting to date:

Fullback: Hunter Luepke, #6
Kicker: Brandon Aubrey, #2 (Boswell is #1 if you're wondering)
Long Snapper: Trent Sieg, #10
Return Specialist: KaVontae Turpin, #1 (Yay!!!)
Wide Receiver: Cee Dee Lamb, #5

Biggest surprise: Jalen Carter not even listed in the top ten. Sorry Eagle fans. And yes, he should be top one or two IMO. Dude is a menace.

Give us a break, do you know how many undeserving players have made the Pro Bowl off of name recognition only, way too many to count. So if the Big Guy gets in because of past accomplishments, so be it he has been one of the best at his position since he came into the league. We were just lucky he played for the Dallas Cowboys his ENTIRE career!!!!
Give you a break about what? The pro-bowl is supposed to be the best players at a position per year. He's a sure fire hall of famer. Should be in his first year of eligibility. But his play this year is undeserving of pro-bowl honors.

Martin being on the list shows how hollow of an accomplishment this is.
Players and coaches make up majority of the voting so the preliminary fan only voting doesn't carry much weight anyways.

The day 1 pro bowl roster is mostly players that also make either the NFL top 100 or all pro team (neither of which have fan votes) so it's moot anyways.

The voters for All Pro aren't watching all the players they vote for either. They may have a few players they really follow but they are mostly just filling out a ballot with preconceived ideas & a glance at stats. Doesn't mean what it should anymore either.
means more than anything you have to say

If it were based on merit, I would have more votes than Zack Martin. Also, I'd be tied with Hunter Luepke.

As apathetic as the fan base seems, someone is still filling out pro bowl ballots. We should have organized!;)

Most NFL fans probably dont know the name of their full backs, long snappers...or right guards for that matter.

Old rule of thumb holes true
A lot of deserving players go in a year later than what they deserve
But a lot keep going in a year or two after they stop deserving it

How bout you do the math for all of us regarding what it would take for each voter to actually review the tape for each position in football in order to cast an informed vote? Then tell us how many voters you think do that. Those will be meaningful numbers.

With gambling being official, it’s going to become even more meaningless. As they are creating more stats and awards and numbers to bet on. Before 2023, only one MVP vote per person was done. now they have a ranking system, thus the Dak was runner up MVP, though he didn’t get a single first place vote. Lamar got 49 and Allen got 1.

Unfortunately it's just gone down the same path as the rest of society. Instead of the voters holding themselves to a high standard so the accolade maintains it's worth like the old days, now it's just a to-do list item. Media nowadays are more interested in monetizing their work than integrity.

What Pro Bowl. It is a bunch of stupid games and watered down flag football.

I guess as long as the players have fun. Actually no preparation and some lame light hearted practices.
Fun for fans and family and to take their kids, possibly meet players.

I stopped voting on this years ago. I actually forgot about it.

unfortunately, while your statement is true in theory, the probowl is more of a popularity contest vs a true merit based contest. Martin is absolutely not worthy of probowl consideration this year but will be in the voting due to past peforance, name recognition and the sheer volume of cowboys fans that vote.
