Okay, so when does Claire's new boyfriend kill his professor :laugh2:
Well if you are talking about Ben Foster then he certainly looks the part. Pretty much everything he has been in from 3:10 to Yuma to Alpha Dog he looks like he is going to kill someone. However, I can't spoil if for you though.Maikeru-sama;3052920 said:Okay, so when does Claire's new boyfriend kill his professor :laugh2:

I had Surgery Wednesday, so I have been watching alot of episodes the last couple of days.
Some of the scenes with Nate was pretty intense. I wondered throughout the entire season what happened to Lisa and they finally tell you at the very end of Season 4.
I went ahead and downloaded Deadwood and will start watching those. Just sucks that I will probably get drawn into it and there will be alot of unanswered questions at the end of Season 3.
Easy there. I've just started watching it (finished season 1 last night.) Very good, but based on the first season, not in the same league as The Sopranos (IMO of course.)Maikeru-sama;3059646 said:I just finished Season 4, this show is much better then The Sopranos.

For me The Wire and The Sopranos are the standard bearers and leagues apart from any other show.
I think the The Wire is but the The Sopranos is not. The only show in the last 10-15 that I would put there with The Wire is The Shield. The Sopranos to me dropped off tremendously after the 1st 2 seasons and by the time the show ended it was almost a mockery of its self. I still think the Sopranos was very good but The Wire was consistently great throughout.jem88;3060999 said:Easy there. I've just started watching it (finished season 1 last night.) I have watched The Wire, The Sopranos and Six Feet Under all within the last 2 years and I believe Six Feet Under is head and shoulder better than The Sopranos.
Overall, I would say Six Feet Under is better then The Wire because it was more consistent, however, when both shows were at their Zenith, The Wire was better.
The Sopranos was a good show but I personally don't think it is as difficult to make a show about the Mob versus a show about Funeral Home Directors. The Sopranos received all the awards and probably had a bigger budget, but I don't think it was better then Six Feet Under or The Wire.
The ending to Six Feet Under was spectacular (just downloaded the ending song) and just like The West Wing, Six Feet Under could have went on for several more seasons. The Wire was done in Season 5, they ran out of ideas and to me, I don't think the Sopranos introduced enough new characters to keep going for another season.
I will be PM'ing some of you guys that have seen all of Six Feet Under so I don't spoil things for others because there are some questions I have.
My boss told me about Six Feet Under, so I will have to give him props because I told him I didn't think I would like it.

The whole thing with McNulty and the dead bodies was just annoying.
Six Feet Under was consistently good and I think the last season was the best.
HBO does a fantastic job of putting out quality shows.
I started Deadwood today, I wish the version I got came with subtitles as I would be able to pick things up a little faster. I can tell it is going to be pretty good, I just wonder how good it will be.
I haven't finished Six Feet Under yet, but it is very, very good. However, I think The Sopranos was far more than just a mob show. IMO it contains one of the top 5 most compelling characters I've ever seen in TV or film and explored issues beyond the mob (such as Tony's family) in a very compelling way.Maikeru-sama;3061261 said:
