I felt the same way. Didn't even watch much of the last season.
The last season was one of the best. Probably 2nd behind season 1 and the season finale was one of the best in recent memory. You really should watch that last season if you get a chance. I almost cried.

I'm on episode 4 and the series is starting to get a little interesting.

For me, I always have to find characters or themes that are interesting and force me to keep watching into a conclusion is reached.

I am very interested to see how the Fishers keep Corporate America from taking over their Funeral Home or putting them out of business.

Also, learning about the different characters that die at the beginning of each episode is interesting.

But like someone else said, the man love is a little bit much  .

I will now that you said that. Might have to buy the box set.

I'm really starting to enjoy Six Feet Under.

Very interesting storylines and some of the characters are hilarious.

Yes, I usually go home for break and I watched a little bit of episode 10 of Season 1.

I am kind of surprised that I find a lot of the shows humor funny.

When everyone was at Billy's art show and Brenda's mom was drunk and flirting with Nate, Nate tells Brenda, "You've got one F'ed up family" :laugh2: .

Yeah, Brenda and Billy's family is just weird.

Some of the deaths are a little depressing. The one where they showed the 3 week old baby (from the baby's view) fading in and out and then finally dying was a little disturbing.

There is one death that is really disturbing. I can't remember what season it is in. You probably haven't gotten to it yet. I will give you a one word hint: limousine.

Are you talking about the lady that was partying with her friends in the limo, stuck her head through the sun roof and then was hit by overhead stop light?

Yeah, that was pretty nasty.

I saw that wikipedia had an entire site dedicated to all the deaths on the show:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Six_Feet_Under_deaths

I'm almost finished with Season 1, I am waiting to see what Billy is going to do to take revenge on his sister and Nate.

Yes that is the one. That must have been Season 1. I know it was either that season or Season 2. Couldn't remember. I really need to rewatch my DVD's again it's been awhile.

Billy, that guy was something else. The actor who played that role was almost TOO good.

mldardy, what season of Six Feet Under did you think was the best?

I did a google search and alot of people said Season 1. I just started Season 3 and I am concerned that is all down hill from here.

Season 3 was probably the worst. It was still good but not on par with the rest mainly because it focused on Nate and Lisa and Brenda was out of the picture. I don't think she shows up until about the 5th of 6th episode of Season 3.

My favorite seasons are Season 1 and Season 5. Season 5 redeems the slowness of 3 and 4 big time. Trust me you are in for some surprises the rest of the way.

My favorite death was either the guy trying to pick up the paper from inside his truck or Santa on the motorcycle.

This show is pretty dang good. The fight between Nate and Brenda at the end of season 2 was crazy.

Really good show. I watched the entire series. My Grandfather was the Director of Photography (Cinematographer) for a 6 episodes in 2004. He now films Desperate Housewives.

Just started season 3, pretty disapointed so far but I'm told it picks up later.
Yeah as I said earlier in this thread Season 3 is very slow until Brenda comes back and it gets a little interesting.
