Well you appear to be one of the few. If I were a Cowboys fan, I certainly would have no desire to have him on the team after what he did to your star. Never liked him and am glad Snyder did not try to get him.

I had totally forgotten about what Gibbs was saying bout the Viks, that was not a reason why I picked a loss that game, so whoever said im a "sheep" or whatever, is just taking a cheap shot. I picked that as a loss bc I feel that we coming off the preseason we will be riding a high, and that the first game we wont have completely gelled together, thats why I have first two losses, so dont question my choices due to "sheepherding" or whatever.

9-7 or 8-8. IMO. everyone has Washington sweeping Philly, what is this? its a division game, come on now please dont give me a sweep like that. AT TAMPA, come on now this team is raw, definately not a sure win. Sure a Bye week right before dallas is nice, but its a division game and both teams will want revenge (cowboys for last year and skins for week 2)

I do not understand how some of you say the Skins don't have weapons. Moss, Portis, and Cooley are all LEGIT offensive playmakers. Sure Lloyd and Randle El have not played a down yet as Commanders but they are definitly an upgrade over what we had before.

Another thing some of you have failed to mention is the hiring of Al Saunders. Whatever this man touches turns to gold. Yea, Marshall Faulk was a good back before Saunders but look what Saunders turned him into. Had you ever heard of Priest Holmes before Saunders went to KC? Also, before Saunders Larry Johnson was just another young back who had some potential. Now imagine what Portis can do with an offense run by Al Saunders. Another thing is that Al Saunders didn't have a fraction of the talent he has at WR here in DC as he did in KC, I personally believe Saunders is going to turn Moss, Lloyd, and El into a very formidable trio of recievers. Saunders had a scary offense in KC with an aging qb two good running backs(but who knows how good they will be without him) and a great TE. In Washington Saunders has a great running back, a great reciever, an up and coming H-Back, and two recievers(lloyd and randle el) who both are better than the Number 1 guy in KC last year.

Not trying to be a homer but I just think some of you underestimate the skins offense. Especially an offense that is run by Joe Gibbs AND Al Saunders.

Man....and they call Commanders fans homers....I think most Skins fans...if not all actually fear the Cowboys Offense and respect it. People on this board act like Portis is some bottom feeder who cant even reach the 1,000 yard mark.

Anyways...the whole season rests on Brunells shoulders. He was solid for the first half of the year and then tailed off. Admittingly though...our Offensive system wasnt exactly the '99 Rams and adding to that....we had ONE WR to throw to and ONE TE...thats it. Patten went out...Jacobs couldnt catch a cold nor get open and Thrash belonged on special teams only.

My Commanders prediction:

11-5. Thats about what i think they will do....give or take a win somewhere...

If Brunell utilizes his weapons and picks up Saunders' system quickly then I think we could win 12 or more....if he struggles and plays like he did in the middle of the year then we could win 8 or less. Thats the big "IF" with the Commanders.

I think Dallas will go 11- 5 with losses to:

INDY
Carolina
Jacksonville

Just my opinion...dont hate...as much as i despise Dallas I do respect the team. I think the Offense will be tough this year. I think Philly's window has closed and I see the Giants taking a small step back to 9-7 or 10-6.
