I am surprised by some of the threads about us blowing out the Skins. IMO, they are the toughest matchup for us this year. Not saying they are the best team, just the worst matchup. They have an elite CB that can shutdown Dez. They have showed that they will run blitz and pass blitz to disrupt the first two downs and get us in third and long. And when they don't blitz they have two good outside rushers in Smith and Kerrigan, one of whom gets Free one on one. To beat them on O we will need a heavy dose of screens, outside runs, and Dak scrambles. Plus, we are good to need some big plays from Beas, Twill, Butler when they blitz. On offense, they are balanced. Since the first time we played them, Kelley and the running game have emerged. Their fill in LT has played really well. And Cousins is taking better care of the ball and making big throws deep. They have very good WRs and TEs. Djax always gives us fits. And Reed is elite at moving the chains and down
The seam. Without Church and Mo, out secondary is in for a very tough test. They are going to move the ball. We just need to hold them to FGs and get a couple of turnovers for a change. I hope I'm wrong and we have an easier game, but I can easily see us losing this one to a tough division foe who matches us well.

I disagree. Yes the skins strength in pass defense but they are not strong vs the run. If Dallas can continue to keep the down and distance in their favor Cowboys should be able to get favorable matchups. Last game Dez vs Breeland was productive and Beasley also had a good game. Cowboys defense that is a concern with how Cousins has been playing and the addition of Kelley in their lineup at RB. I agree it will be a tough game but I don't think it is a poor matchup when you consider our big strength in the run game and that is the skins weakness.

I agree. Secondary injuries hurt us this game b/c they have 5-6 viable passing options. That's why I said Lawrence and Crawford need to bring it. Enough of the flashes, play a great GAME.

Also Dez as much as I love him needs to finally show up vs an elite corner. I can't remember the last time he came out on top against one.

Last game, Norman did not follow Dez. I think that will be different this time. And I think their run blitzes will be a problem. That Cravens kid is really playing welll and is disruptive.

Ravens were our toughest matchup to this point, by far.

This is an in division game so it ill be tough for that reason, but I'm not as worried about it as I was last week.

Cowboys by 10+ book it. Why? Look at the teams Washington have played and how they have struggled. Those wins could easily be losses. You guys are really over rating this team they are not that good as there record indicates. Come tomorrow they are going to get punched in the mouth.

Some people on here are crazy thinking this is a gimme for the Cowboys.
The 'Skins are in a good groove and it will be a battle to defeat them.
Their style plays right into our defensive deficiencies.
They have a balance attack working now, running and passing.
If we don't get some pressure on Cousins, it will be a long day.
Like us, if they establish the run, they will play-action us to death.

If they can't stop our run game they are toast...

They are a good team, and I think a lot of people are wrong thinking we will blow them out. If Cousins did not miss multiple wide open receivers in our first match up we probably lose. One big advantage that we have is we played at home against the Ravens and are at home on Thanksgiving. (obviously) The Skins on the other hand had a Sunday Night game in Green Bay, and are on the road. The NFL really screwed them with that schedule. They at the very least could have made their game a noon kickoff. Either way advantage us. I think we win with a late Dan Bailey FG chip shot.

IMO Green Bay was the worst matchup for us. Especially on the road.

When we played Green Bay their defense wasn't dismantled with injuries either.

Bring on these Commanders. Vegas has us -7... There is a reason for that.
