I still think facing Pitt on the road is the toughest matchup we'll have all year. That doesn't mean we wont lose another game, obviously.

As good as Norman is and he may limit Dez, moving the ball and scoring tomorrow will not be an issue.

This.

Defensively Pit & Washington are similar.

Offensively Pittsburgh is better.

And playing at Pittsburgh is brutally hard.

They are a good team, and I think a lot of people are wrong thinking we will blow them out. If Cousins did not miss multiple wide open receivers in our first match up we probably lose. One big advantage that we have is we played at home against the Ravens and are at home on Thanksgiving. (obviously) The Skins on the other hand had a Sunday Night game in Green Bay, and are on the road. The NFL really screwed them with that schedule. They at the very least could have made their game a noon kickoff. Either way advantage us. I think we win with a late Dan Bailey FG chip shot.

And if Zeke didn't fumble, if Dak didn't struggle in the red zone, zero td's for Dak. Every team has if's.

I agree people are underestimating the Skins. I don't agree that they're a particular matchup problem for us. We are low on DBs right now up against that good WR corps. And Cousins isn't in the middle of his existential funk anymore. But we still pose a bigger matchup headache for them than they do for us.

I worry about them because we're good right now, and they're the Skins. That's how it is with this rivalry.

And Dak was sacked 4 times that 1st game. Our OL was in a funk early in the season with Collins at LG. Leary starting has changed that. I expect way better protection.

Won't be a blow out. Yes Cousins did miss some targets.. and people fail to acknowledge Zeke and Dak being rookies. Zeke had ball control and fumbling issues not to mention his timing for letting plays develop was way off.

Dak was a game manager.

Both players are very different from where they were at in week 2.

That's nearly a wash.

Really difficult game tomorrow but imo the giants game is the toughest of the season. They are the worst matchup for us for a number of reasons.

Tomorrow if we can get a lead and steal a possession or two they will have an impossible time of stopping the run. They are horrendous against the run.

The giants are built to stop the run and have all the parts to matchup with us on both sides of the ball as they designed it when they spent 200 million to do just that.

This feels just like 07. Just like it. I bet we see the giants in the playoffs and the Commanders will go on the road and lose to detroit or atlanta.

This just feels like the year we can finally get redemption on the Giants for 07. First we have to win tomorrow and then at NY.

I am not sure Cousins has the mental makeup to handle a high-pressure game - we'll see.....

The Skins passing game matches up well with our weak secondary. BUT-- our running game will be tough for them to handle, and that will open things up for Dak. Also-- the short week will hurt them more than us. Not only do they have less time to prepare and have to travel-- they are facing a much more physical offense than we are facing.

I can see us trailing at half by a TD-- but then coming out and watching Dak and Zeke put together 2-3 loooong scoring drives that just choke em out. As long as we play back and tackle well-- we will force Cousins to drive the length of the field. Our red zone D is pretty solid and I think we can limit the damage.

Most of you are basing the close decision for this game on how we played the first game against them. WRONG

Our dline definitely needs to step up and get consistent pressure on Cousins.

no reason to knock him he has proven he is a very good player and has excellent players around him and a good group of coaches.

Their offense is excellent.

He is 3rd Cousin he can ruin a game very quickly. He is not a franchise QB.

Cowboys by 10+ book it. Why? Look at the teams Washington have played and how they have struggled. Those wins could easily be losses. You guys are really over rating this team they are not that good as there record indicates. Come tomorrow they are going to get punched in the mouth.

This. Skins did this last year. They got hot for a stretch but never beat anyone of any quality. I don't think they are any better than the Steelers. Both are similar teams. Except I still think Ben is better than Cousins. Packers had no trouble moving the ball on the Skins defense, even how depleted they were on the OL. They just can't run the ball for anything with how weak their line is now. We can. We can control the line of scrimmage against them. Their run defense is a lot weaker than their pass defense. We will be able to score.

The thing with them is you just need to keep the deep ball and big play to a bare minimum. They thrive off both. If you make Cousins have to drive the ball down the field methodically, more than likely he will fall on his face and give you great chances for interceptions. If he does, we need to take advantage. Like we did in the endzone in week 2.

Their offense is excellent.

He just seems a little insecure with his yelling into the camera and at the GM of "how do you like me now".

That was unnecessary and immature IMO.

That is what I meant by it, not that he was not playing well, or that they were not good.
