Because if we lose to the packers, we are in first place alone at 4-2

if we beat the packers, then we are in sole possesion of 1st at 5-1


But if the eagles win, then it's likely they will regain the first place spot and be 4-1 while we are 4-2


So if the skins win, that packers game becomes a win/win situation regardless of the outcome.

I will never count out the Cousins led Commanders. he is the luckiest mediocre qb I have ever watched play the game. The massive one year franchise tag he pulled of was another example of his luck, just as all the stars aligning for him to actually win the division last year.

Dude, it doesn't matter who wins between the Eagles and Skins. Both are playing for 2nd in the East and a hopeful Wild Card birth. Our loss to the Giants will be our only loss in the division this season. Book it (and no, I'm not kidding).

That said, I'd like to see them win this one, just to tamp down he Eagles mania a bit. The Eagles have us, GB, and MIN coming up the three weeks after that Skins game, and I don't mind at all the idea of them going into a hole prior to Thanksgiving.
