I’m not sure what your training manual from your shipping and receiving job has to do with anything? Your feelings are hurt by the data, but the data doesn’t care about your feelings.
LOL...I thought with such a fancy name you'd know what AQL inspection process is.

Oh wait...your are trying to be funny. Tee hee then I guess.

My 'feelings are hurt". By the likes of YOU? With your cherry picking stats? Oh excuse me..."data". Now that is indeed funny!

You are about as fake news as they come. All for your fragile tiny ego. Well knock yourself out buddy. Tell yourself whatever you need...all good.

My "feelings are hurt"....hilarious.

Interesting post and thanks.

I remember reading about Zeke prior to the draft, I believe he had the 1st or 2nd fastest 0-10 yard split (Henry and him were 1 and 2), I'm not a runner but I thought that was impressive. Acceleration as you put it.

That was why many saw him and compared to to L. Bell at the time, because that was his style to...Wait for the blocks to form then burst through. So now he has lost his burst but as you mentioned, still has that top end. Maybe he needs a few more sweeps and such to get him a chance to build up his speed. It seems like I've seen some runs where if he makes the corner, he's been more effective vs Moore pounding him up the middle all of the time.

Maybe some specific training or weight loss can get some of his burst back?
That's th e thing some of the yahoos don't get...in all their glory NFL expertise. Moore's made a habit of calling zeke up the clogged middle. Sometimes three times in a row. Then moore (and the yahoos) throw up their hands..."well the running game ain't working SEE! Zeke is burned out guess we'll have to pass 50 times from here on out."

Then they see Pollard get a screen in the flats take off for 20 yards and say "see how much better Pollard is....Zeks is toast I told ya!".

Did you noticed how many times Moore called for Tony to pass block against Cinnci? ZERO. Very smart!

Why does he make Zeke do it then?

Moore called a great game for what we had in front of us. Dak played great. Tony played great...although seems we gassed him hard. Let's get Dak back in the mix and keep up the good work!

Yeah when the Cowboys took Zeke #4 overall they should have committed to the style of play that maximized HIS skillset. When they decided to shift into maximizing Dak's skillset, even before it had fully developed, they should have traded Zeke the next day.. as THIS reporter stated 4 years ago.. They never should have paid Zeke top money if they were just going to hand him the rock 15 times a game. They drafted him to be dominant.. Hard to be dominant on 15 totes a game especially if half of them are the damn delay draw up the gut. He aint built for that. He's built to attack the line of scrimmage downhill. When they stopped doing that on 80+% of his carries, he stopped being worth the money.. That's the simple fact of the matter.. I will never be mad at Zeke for getting his money.. but I can be mad at the Cowboys for not allowing him to earn it.

Spot on!!

I noticed you keep saying "best runner". Interesting.
Nobody wanted not to draft Elliot more than me. But I totally understand the value that he brings to this team. Too many people are tunnel vision

SoTony was tired after 30 plays.
That's awesome.
Zeke breaks one for 12 yds and he's waving at the sidelines. Lol
Seriously I have no problem with 2RBs
Just more lightning and less thunder.
Seriously…..how often did Emmitt wave out? Zeke is NOT in good condition, he always goes out and def lost a couple steps. He not a workhorse anymore, takes too many breaks to be a workhorse.

I think it can.. It's not so much weight loss but focused training. Like I said above.. It's not about training the body differently.. it's about training the mind. You have a certain feeling when you accelerate to top speed.. The hard part is that as you age that feeling stays pretty much the same even though you're not running as fast. In my case I had to learn how to make my body give me more "gas" even though my mind was saying I had used it all. Once I mastered that I was able to run faster in my 30s than I had ever run in high school, college or any time in between.

But one aspect of being an older runner was the elongated recovery time. At meets where there were prelims and then a final I would routinely run much faster in prelims than I could in the finals however many minutes or hours later. My body needed more time to recover than the meets would typically allow. It's why Serena Williams was never going to win another major in her 40's. There was no way her body could hold up over a two week grind. She could dominate her younger opponents for a while but eventually Father Time would sap her energy. The dilemma with older athletes is always this.. They can do what they used to do at the same level as they could when they were younger.. But they can't do it as long or as often.

Of course no two human beings are exactly alike.. Zeke may be able to play at his current level for 5-6 more years.. or he may have a resurgence at age 29-30 like Emmitt did after a couple of years with low carries allowed him to get fresh again. We just have to watch and find out.. I think Zeke has a few more 150 yard games in him. The key is to get them in the divisional playoff and the NFC Championship.. not week 8 against the Bears.. I think t he Cowboys understand.. and I think Zeke understands that.

I noticed that too. I was watching to see how Pollard was in pass blocking. Not once did they call a play to have him pass block. That's a huge limit to your offense.

Problem is Zeke should be the change of pace back not Pollard. Pollard is a better runningback.

Watch the sounds from the sideline video. Pollard at the 7:40 mark says " I wasn't running very fast because my legs are heavy"

Go watch it. Zeke is the better early down back by far. Enjoy both they are both so important to this team. I get it you might just not like Zeke because some people just don't understand what he does.

He’s in year 7 with 1,750+ carries. He’s not getting his speed back.

The last thing this offense needs to do is run him outside the tackles more.

Absolute made up BS.

Kellen Moore in the post game presser made it a point to highlight two pass blocks Pollard picked up.

Y’all are just parroting lines at this point.

It absolutely is.. and better DCs will exploit the hell out of it. The good news is that Dak remains one of the best in the game against the blitz but if Pollard is in on passing downs I'm sending somebody every time if I'm the DC. Not only does it make him stay in it also takes a little starch out of him as a runner every time a linebacker steamrolls him.. As Peete said, after a while those body blows take a toll and he's not as quick or explosive anymore.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why it's hard for people to sit back and enjoy what they both bring to the table. Especially when it's helping our team win. Lord these people must be miserable in real life.

Yes. Also questionable for Peete to make this known publicly.
Known? we saw the player in question in the sideline huffing and puffing, tapped out 3 times. and post-game before Peete spoke Pollard admitted this in an interview.
