He needs to focus on getting his staff right. It's not like he can begin to have Dak run a drill yet.
Yep

Not to mention this entire thread is based on one reporter with a random tweet. How does she even know? Did Dak or McCarthy tell her directly? I kinda doubt it

she doesn’t have a good track record lately

You didn’t say anything

Emo? I’m providing some actual information and thoughtful opinion in this thread.

you’re just spouting insults

and ... you have yet to post an actual idea or suggestion. “Do like Alex Smith”. “Move up in the draft and take a blue chip prospect”

lol, those aren’t plans, those are message board fantasies

you’ve proven you have no idea what you’re talking about and you just make personal attacks so you’re going on ignore
Could somebody please answer why online people feel so self important that they have to announce they are putting you on ignore. Sassy behavior at its finest lol. Moving up in the draft and doing like someone did a few years ago in a similar situation isn’t an answer. @PAPPYDOG these employees are putting in OT hope they get a % of Daks contract smh.

You gotta feel for the Dak-employees so close to their bonus checks but yet so far.
They preached here that Dak was going to sign his mega-deal in the off-season.
Then they went contract berzerk after we blew out the first 3 dogs we played not listening to normal Cowboys fans who kept short rope as dogs are well dogs!
Now their hopes lie with the Tag as its pretty evident that Dak is not worth anywhere close to top 10 QB cash.
Their reality check won't stop with the possible Tag as they might have to stomach the addition of a new QB in the spring either thru the FA market or the draft or both.
Dak had his chance and hit the dirt like most of his passes.
GL Dak gotta feeling you will need it bud....

Yeah I think his minions checks aren’t clearing so now they’re looking more shocked than a Texans fan who turned the game off at the beginning of the second qtr.

Maybe talk to Dak when we know for sure he is coming back.

Right now, he has coaches to bring in. That’s the priority

* "Jerry already told McCarthy that Dakotas gonna be franchised". No sense getting too close to a Qb that's just gonna drive the bus for a year. This is the product of turning down 30 Million and wanting to be paid Elite money.

* sourced per ESPN's criteria for sourcing

Calling dak now could complicate contract negotiations with the cowboys. Seems prudent.

If you have Lawrence you wont need a a 100 million dollars tied up in the online or 90 mil tied up in Zeke. It would be worth doing whatever it takes to get Lawrence. You cant put a price on Elite. Even if it's not Lawrence in 2021 let's just say Tua falls to 17 in this upcoming draft. They would be complete idiots not to take him. Franchise Dak for a season while Tua heals up and learns then starts the next season and let Dak walk.
If Tua has a clean bill of health. He will be the second pick at least. Unless the doctors say he has a Bo Jackson like injury to his hip. There is no way he falls to 17. Tua is a natural thrower of the football as there is.

Tua doesn't fall below Miami, at worst, in the draft.
I agree with you on the possible clean bill of health.
If so, there may be a few teams looking to move up.

I think the Commanders or the Giants should draft him. Thank goodness they believe they have their franchise quarterback already.
