the backups are untested.

Murray is like a heat seeking missile and can cover TEs, too. Blitzes with bad intentions.

Not a problem if he 'fails' to us.

Completely agreed. He’s a sure fire talent and the highest character player in the draft.

He’s as safe as a draft pick comes.

And with our D moving to a lot of 3-4 looks, we need another LB.

Love Ruiz. I won’t be upset at all to come out of round 1 with him and an extra 3rd.

He is such a good player, I’d probably be fine with taking him straight up at 17.

Defense will probably be the way though. However, if the board is completely picked over, Ruiz would be one hell of a consolation prize.
