Smart thing is to take advantage of depth at certain positions, but

So would you compare it to a 2013? Where you had a weak 1st but strong day 2

If so, who would you say is our Frederick?
Really good example. I have to wait until after the combine and see how the rankings play out but to answer your question maybe Harmon, Grant, Nolan, would be my Frederick. A good 1 tech with 3 tech potential. It depends how far we fall.

Consolidating this convo a bit lol. Who would you guys guess would be the trade up target at 12 for us to move? Ward? Milroe? One of the DE's?
I have a feeling the Marshall pass rusher Green or Barron, cornerback Texas, will be the hot guys available at 12. There is a part of me that thinks Ward and Sanders are not first round worthy players let alone top 3 draft picks so I could see on of them falling.

If the board is wiped I like the idea of trading down and adding a 3rd + 4/5.

I think guys like Egbuka, Green, Barron etc would all still be in play.

I am greedy. I want a 2nd and 3rd if you want me to give up Jeanty. The Boise St. kid could be a trade target as well. We actually have valuable assets now. Let’s use them. Captain trade back is the way to go in the 2025 draft.

If we can swing that absolutely. I just think a 3rd and 4th is a little more realistic.

I could be wrong, but I believe Dalvin Cook was their last first and they had King as a 2nd but higher than Charlton. They went with Chalton due to CB depth
Yes, the point is they over drafted Taco due to the depth at the corner position. My point of this discussion is, be careful not to pass over a better player cause of depth at another position

If you trade down into the 20s? I guess you remember the Frederick deal when we got fleeced for dropping down 10 spots. See that is what the issue is with the front office. Frederick became a great player but for the 18th pick you should have gotten more. The 12th pick could get you a Brown from Carolina who would make our defensive line elite if you resigned Osa. With the 44th you could probably get Garrett Wilson to fill our second receiver role. Two proven players that would help both sides of the ball.

I was thinking more around 16ish.

20s might lose you all the prospects I referenced.

Ok. I got 11 round grades. 1. Carter 2. Hunter. 3. Graham 4. Will Johnson 5. Mykel Williams 6. Jeanty 7. Starks. 8. Banks 9. McMillan, 10. Jalen Walker 11. Barron. Only 4 of my 11 I would say are walk in studs. I would trade down to the 20s and turn the 12th pick into 3 top 75 players.
