They tried, lol they drafted lawrence, and stoner gregory, and signed the great T.Crawford to a big deal instead of signing murray,
then got cedric thornton and rolando in FA and yes hardy lol and they also drafted jaylon smith who well we dont know what that will turn out to be.
but they have made moves, they just havent worked out as expected.
They havent used any round 1 on DL, not sure about lawrence, but thats what is needed is to draft some good def line and others on defense.
maybe they hit on some.

To me crawford wasnt worth what they paid him, and lawrence and gregory were just bad picks, jaylon might be too,
and all the FA picks have not panned out.

He was an idiot in Dallas and made some disrespectful comments about Romo after he left. He was on a TV show and the host tossed Marty B a football and it was a bad toss and he called him Tony Romo.

That's actually pretty funny if you ask me. This is an entertainment industry.

What do you expect him to do when Romo/Witten had a huge part in running him out of town? Praise him later? Him and his brother speak the truth on a lot of subjects. But people write it off because they are "idiots".

No one ran him off, he wasn't mature, didn't know his assignments and the plans the Cowboys had for him to add another element to the passing game along with Witten didn't work out. I don't expect a player who was let go for a better opportunity elsewhere to crap on their former teammates once they're gone. How did Romo run him out of town? He didn't want to stay playing behind Witten and he dislikes him for that.

It's not always wise to speak your mind when you're a player who's apart of an organization and at least he was smart enough not to say anything when he was here about those players. While he was here he seemed more interested in rap music and making stupid profanity laced video's on Youtube, some of which he either deleted on his own or the team made him delete them.

He was horribly erratic as a receiving target here, but was one of the best if not the best blocking TEs in the game. Considering the state of the OL at the time, that was very valuable. He was way more productive in Dallas then Fasano or Escobar ever were
