Smh at Marty B making it to the Super Bowl before Witten

This can't be life.
He was the most frustrating Cowboys player ever from my perspective.

He had incredible talent. Biggest mismatch in training camp that I've seen in all the years I've been there. He ran around like a WR grabbing passes with one hand and making DBs look silly. Then he could dominate as a blocker.

For some reason he just couldn't do it in real games when he was here.

After watching The Bennett Brothers E-60 I blame the Marty B failure on The Garrett Brothers. They did him just like they did Fasano, Phillips and now Escobar.

OJ Howard will be the next TE the Cowboys ruin.

You are certainly welcome to your opinion but I think Bucky Hodges will be the next TE we ruin.

Why? He is one of 53 players going to the SB with an organization that has been to the game 7 times in 16 years. If Kellen Moore was their third string QB he would be going too. It is called landing on your feet.

The talented knuckleheads have always come and gone. Remember Darren Benson pining for a $10 an hour roofing career during one training camp?

The Cowboys have been great at using #2 draft picks on TEs and developing them for other teams. Bellichick probably already has his eye on Escobar.

Unrequited sports fans should be thankful for sites like CowboysZone. These sites can sometimes contain small Bermuda Triangles, located within isolated seas of misery, where fellow members are not unlike beautiful sirens, posting irresistible messages of despair, dragging their willing peers down ever deeper into bottomless whirlpools of pessimistic hopelessness.

Now THAT'S dramatic. :p

I like that word : unrequited

Gotta love how the Patriots have maintained such a high level football team for so many years. Marty B is falling right in line up there

is that another name for s SB?

These are popularity contests
Jerry has been GM if the year but no team in the NFL would ever make him their GM

The only criteria of success is success on the field, win in the post season and have your team ready to play

Garrett fails on both counts
You mean all three counts right? you listed three. Or did you mean just two of them? Because it seems the team was ready to play all year. I mean they did beat just about every team they played right? Then I guess that's success on the field to. Until you lose. Then it's not successful anymore. got it.

Written unfortunately for him, had to deal with being on mediocre teams, a mediocre FO and mediocre coaching for a large part of his career. His problem is he wasn't drafted by a better organization. It may be a little to late for Witten, but we will have wait and see.

I would recommend reading my post again and taking remedial English classes

Perhaps, being a Garrett homie, you are not aware that there is something called the post season in football , but k clearly said "post season"

If Witten was a Patriot and Bennett was a Cowboy then Bennett wouldn't have gotten to a Super Bowl before Witten.

He's moved the goal posts from wins to postseason wins as that makes it easier to continue complaining about the coaching rather than about what the actual limitations with the team are.
