Smith steps on Romos foot

Throw/INT shouldn't even of happened. RUN the ball.

I know it is useless to say that now. But, that should of been the play.. Yeah, yeah, I know. They were passing up and down the field. I get it. But, tied 48-48 and getting that close to beating a very good offensive team that is Denver? C'mon Man..

looked like Smith got caught by surprise at the bull rush after Denver's Dline seemed to be playing soft the whole second half.

If I'm not mistaken the interception was thrown on 2nd down. If they were going to run it they should've run it on first.

Did it cause him to throw into tripple coverage too?

That is the kind of throw Tony has made all season and every quarterback in the NFL has to make. The throwing window on the Witten TD was far smaller. Tripping on Smiths foot and having Leary flash in his face along with a great play by their LB led to the pick. It truly was just a bad break for Tony and the Cowboys but it was not terrible decision at all.

You realize we were 2nd and 16 and the broncos have a good run defense right? You punt that ball and game over just as easily.

Yes. I should've explained better, my apologies. The first play should of been a run. That way, maybe just maybe. Romo doesn't take a sack, leading to that 2nd a 16.. This game just pissed me off in so many ways , my mind is fluttering... Time for me to move on to the Skins. ahah

That's really a lot of hindsight. The line was protecting Romo very well all game up until that final drive.

Understood. But, ball control was still the name of the game. The less the Broncos had the ball, the better, but, even if Dallas could or did score there. It would of had to been a TD. This defense wasn't stopping anything and a FG would not of been enough. Just a frustrating loss I guess. When the offense plays well, The defense is crap. When the defense plays well, the offense is non existent.

There was a time to run the ball but we still needed to get into field position.

He didn't have to make it. Demarco was uncovered right in front of him.

Yep, and that time was then and when Dallas had 1st and goal in the second quarter, right before they passed three times in a row and had to settle for a FG.

Enjoy the cropped and still interlaced 1080i.

Ware forced this same type of play versus RG3 last Thanksgiving on the duck pass that he threw up to be intercepted after having his throwing base removed.

It wasn't triple coverage. I thought so at first as well. Escobar had one guy underneath and was breaking to Romo's right. There was another defender more over the top. But, there was room to throw. It wasn't the greatest decision and I really can't blame Tyron either. It was also a very good play by the defender.

It's not hindsight. They had 2 1/2 minutes with 3 time outs and the 2 minute warning to get the ball in fg range. It was an eternity, and they needed to kill all of that time so Peyton and co would have no chance. They should have come out running, especially with what Denver's defense was doing.
