Game Day SNF: Cowboys vs Giants Game Thread

Carr has just solidified himself as a great signing...

Victory!! 6 turnovers in one game, didn't it take us until week 6 a season or two ago to get even one? Monte Kiffen was the answer.

No, Rod Marineli was the answer. Don't you find it funny our defense looked a lot like the Bears of years past? Gang tackling, stripping the ball, etc? That isn't old man Kiffin.. that is Rod.

I don't agree or know why red went for 2. 7 and a field goal would have beat Big D.

Easy to get a lot of passing yards when the defense is just trying to undercut everything deep.

What I said earlier still stands: Homers will always home and sourpusses will always sour. Their opinions don't affect you.

I'm always happy with a Cowboys win, but frankly this is embarrassing that the game was such a nail biter with all of the turnovers. The team has a lot to work on.

It was embarrassing to see all the holds that the refs refused to call. Guys were running free towards Eli and the OL would grab them from behind. The last one I saw the guy had the back of Hatcher's jersey and it was stretched out. There is no way that the refs could miss that.

This game is basically a carbon copy of the one last year between the Giants and Cowboys in Dallas except the roles have been reversed.

People are gonna over analyze this game because they, for some reason, do not understand that NFC east games are not a true measure of the team.

Anything can and will happen.

It's great to see the turnovers bounce our way for once. Hope they keep coming.

I'll take the win. Lots of ups and downs in the game. For one, I am getting tired of Mo Claiborne. I already know what his supporters will say but I am personally getting tired of him.

Well, 1-0 is 1-0.

Definitely didn't have a very efficient offense and defensively saw a lot of gaps, but turnovers are hard to overcome and we created a lot of them.

Agreed. Now people here will call you a crybaby.

Cowboys will never be able to be a shutdown defense...they're an indoor team. How many dome teams historically have been able to play defense to the level of the Steelers? The great teams that play indoors are typically offensive juggernauts with timely defense (a la the SB winning Saints and Colts most recently).

If you want to be a dome team with a successful defense, you'll give up yards and some points but you make up for it with turnovers and hope your offense does their job.

If they keep forcing turnovers then they're doing their job on defense
