Yes. It is.I still don't understand what is wrong with the wholesomeness of the old movies and TV shows. Leave it alone. So the handsome prince saves the beautiful woman. Is that really so bad that they have to change it?
Uh, NO disney is NOT going to eventually make money on this. IT is not going make that much money. You might want to look into it a little deeper. For individual movies and tv shows, there is not as much as you might think.I still don't understand what is wrong with the wholesomeness of the old movies and TV shows. Leave it alone. So the handsome prince saves the beautiful woman. Is that really so bad that they have to change it?
Disney is going to make money on this film eventually. Once it goes to streaming, people will turn it on for curiosity and eventually it will break even or maybe even make a little profit.
There is a warning that some networks post at the beginning of some old TV shows. It reads, "Outdated Cultural Depictions". This is listed with other warnings like language, etc. It's as if the audience isn't smart enough to see that these shows are old and some of the themes may be old fashioned..
I am curious.Yes. It is.
I meant that it is to them.I am curious.
Why is it bad?
There ie this weird obsession people have trying to determine what a flop is or isn’t. It’s impossible to know without knowing the budget or how much made from merchandise.Same thing with the latest Captain America; lots of reshoots ballooned the budget badly but Disney is trying to hide it
To me it’s art. And the younger audience gets a new way to view the story.I still don't understand what is wrong with the wholesomeness of the old movies and TV shows. Leave it alone. So the handsome prince saves the beautiful woman. Is that really so bad that they have to change it?

actually its pretty well known to anyone that bothers to look. There ie this weird obsession people have trying to determine what a flop is or isn’t. It’s impossible to know without knowing the budget or how much made from merchandise.
why am I not surprised you do not get itTo me it’s art. And the younger audience gets a new way to view the story.
Oh I do care lol. I love movies and the process they are made. I just said it’s a weird obsession people have with trying to determine what’s a flop and what’s not. People have no idea how much reshoots costs, or how much merchandise is made…or how much money is made overseas and how much money they receive from overseas markets.actually its pretty well known to anyone that bothers to look.
BUT get this:
a flop is a movie that just breaks even
A DISASTER is a movie that loses millions
AN EPIC DISASTER is a movie that loses hundreds of millions
and I am glad you do not care.
why am I not surprised you do not get it
True, if they don't actually change the story. A rerelease of the original would work just fine for that, IMO.To me it’s art. And the younger audience gets a new way to view the story.
The numbers are usually available to the public, for better or worse. I don't care enough to do the research myself, but I've watched a few videos by people who have..and even that, I don't care much.Oh I do care lol. I love movies and the process they are made. I just said it’s a weird obsession people have with trying to determine what’s a flop and what’s not. Everyone swears Disney keeps losing money yet they keep cranking out material monthly so who knows….

Yes, it’s demeaning to women that they have to be saved all the time by men who are clearly very bad!I still don't understand what is wrong with the wholesomeness of the old movies and TV shows. Leave it alone. So the handsome prince saves the beautiful woman. Is that really so bad that they have to change it?

like all this garbage about being triggered.Yes, it’s demeaning to women that they have to be saved all the time by men who are clearly very bad!
I remember when they used to make "Family Entertainment" their first priority......now other things are prioritized and people are now waking up to it and making other choices with their walletsI would love to see Disney go bankrupt and cease to exist.
