While true….i consider a live adaption from a cartoon to be different if done well. I haven’t seen this to know but I did enjoy the Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin.True, if they don't actually change the story. A rerelease of the original would work just fine for that, IMO.
Those X Men movies weren’t bad and made money. Those Madam Web movies and all that crap…..disgusting.Ha, I knew the contents of this thread before even clicking it. On the topic though, I do wish remake flops or any flops would make a studio stop making them but nope they'll just continue. With the remakes like this it has to be a copyright thing. Keep making live action remakes that no one watches so you don't lose the rights. Fox was doing that with the X-Men movies before Disney bought them and Sony is doing it with the Spiderverse.
Are they though? Disney is still number one and it’s not close.I remember when they used to make "Family Entertainment" their first priority......now other things are prioritized and people are now waking up to it and making other choices with their wallets
number one in what? Are they though? Disney is still number one and it’s not close.
I never said any of the above lol….you’re trying to tailspin. I said average people like you have no idea how much is made or lost on a film. You have no idea how much money is being made or lost and it bother you. I’m sorry.some probably think you have a weird obsession with others obsessions
BUT once again you clearly do not know much about this at all.
You seem to think the studio gets every dollar of the gross
WRONG
you also seem to think the studio gets every dollar of the merchandizing and so on
WRONG
and you also clearly do not understand anything about movie finances or costs
Entertainmentnumber one in what?
stun us with your brilliance.
I wasn't really talking about quality and money with those. Though X-Men: Apocalypse was terrible and pissed me off as a fan of Apocalypse and you already know how bad the non MCU Spiderverse movies are. I'm talking about rights issues. It's why Disney can now use Namor and make a whole movie about The Hulk. Universal let the rights lapse by not making any movies with them. Fox also did it with those terrible Fantastic Four movies. Those X Men movies weren’t bad and made money. Those Madam Web movies and all that crap…..disgusting.
Ahh I see your point. I liked Apocolyse but it was fumbled so bad could’ve been much better. Hopefully Marvel does right by them I love X-men 97I wasn't really talking about quality and money with those. That for sure isn’t there roots though lol. The Disney we know and love had to evolve and it had trial and error. They’re adapting with the world they can’t stay in 1957.I celebrate every dollar Disney loses, they forgot their roots, which is family friendly content and messaging.
average people can find out a lot if they are willing to put in the time and effortI never said any of the above lol….you’re trying to tailspin. excuses are funny and sometimes patheticThat for sure isn’t there roots though lol. The Disney we know and love had to evolve and it had trial and error. They’re adapting with the world they can’t stay in 1957.
really? Give details.Entertainment
How much has Disney made off merchandise for their latest Captain America movie?average people can find out a lot if they are willing to put in the time and effort
but clearly you do not
So you say listen to your elders they always know better, is that it?
The information is easy to find. Now of course if you are not intelligent enough to understand it....
What details do you want? They have made more money then any tv/film studio…really? Give details.
What’s funny is your definition of “excuse”…what excuse? Disney is the last one that needs an excuse lol..excuses are funny and sometimes pathetic
You are correct. It has always been a musical even before the movie was created.
