I guess I'm he minority, but after seeing their 1s the other night compared to our 1s- I'm not anywhere as concerned as I probably should be. Yeah they have weapons, but so do we. The big difference is we've shown in our "dress rehearsal" the power of this offense. we've all seen the "dream" in motion. The gunts on the other hand, did not accomplish this last night. Even on Defense this unit has done all it has been asked, while their D, which does have a solid pass rush, has not shown me much to be concerned about. That clownshow of an offense Rex rolled out last night doesn't really prove to me otherwise, even though you could say they they're D had a big night..maybe after years of exposure Spags sunshine pumping has finally gotten to me..

Oh, I think we have weapons too.
I just wouldn't discount the Giants offense based on a preseason game.

I like Dallas' chances in week one, but k ow to be wary.

So, just wondering what YOU would have done since you are all knowing. Gone out and thrown money at someone's backup that get's cut? Tried to coax some retired guy back onto the field? Fact is, if you lose a guy at the start of camp, your options really are fairly limited. You expect guys on your team to step up and you try searching through what is available. We have added Selvie, Gibson, given Wilbur more time. But what would "Mr. Throw in all the chips" do?

I think you missed the point.

Here are two main cogs in this defense that toomk far longer to heal.

I don't know about Rat, but I do know Spence stated he takes plays off at times. That may have been a few years ago, but he just missed training camp. That is a concern.

As far as your insult, I post my OPINION here just like everyone else. I have stated over and over it may be right or may be wrong. If this somehow rubs you the wrong way, you have the option to not read them or put me on ignore.

Your choice.

Honestly, EGG, a lot of people on this site could learn a lot about football from Bluestang's 'lollipops.' His opinions are informed, and valid, as far as I'm concerned. You might not agree with his positions, but it's not cool to pretend they're not valid without at least addressing them head on.

I think I have a problem with people suddenly becoming experts on football without an inkling of resume to back it up.

He got his nose out of joint because in one of his threads I made mention that I don't know who any of these people are who are touting their opinions as gold, and since this is the internet I will be skeptical.

He rared up then and evidently still carries a grudge over that comment.

I do recall some of his cutting edge information ended up being wrong.

Just like everyone else on this board.

This is a site for opinions. Some like to imply an expert label to their opinions. Sorry if it shakes the row boat, but I am a little more cynical and need a little proof when someone created a thread in the guise of teaching the great unwashed about this game.

Show me a resume.

But then taking this position of doubt makes me an *** to most.

I don't know how much of an expert the guy is, or how much he claims to be one. I just know he's pretty bright, and he backs up his opinions with quality arguments.

I also know from personal experience how arguments get twisted around here so that what a poster says can get confused badly over time by the people who debated with him. I've heard my own positions turned backwards and inside out and given back to me enough--and probably done the same thing to people I've gone round and round with--to be skeptical of others claiming I was wrong in the first place.

Either way, though, I don't much care. This place is fun when you can trade arguments with people who don't agree with you and mostly keep it respectful. Maybe a little disrespect, but nothing too showy. You and Bluestang can do that, if you really want to. At least he's a poster whose got a good grasp of football. It's not like he's on a mission to replace our punter for hitting the video screen or anything.

I got over it long ago. Only did I find last night it still simmers in his craw.

That's funny because the poster rickjameschinaclub, and Idigit can vouch for this, is the one character that loved to derail my threads and question me constantly.

The user TwoDeep3 hasn't, but it appears you might have given away trade secrets. Oopsies.

BTW I do like some of the stuff you posted in the past, but I don't spend much time on forums asking for resumes if I don't like the information presented to me. I simply just close the browser. It's easy with Windows these days.

Spencer is dodging training camp. Bone spures don't happen instantaneously throu injury. They develope throu inflamation over a long time.
He was aware of the injury and timed the op for TC.

And to be honest i see Ratliff the same way. To me those players are not the players we should build our team on. Not the RKGs. I hope we find a better solution on both positions an can get rid of them soon.

perfect post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
