So the crowd still sucked on Sunday, but...

So let me see if I got this straight.

ONE Philly fan starts talking crap to an entire section plus of Cowboys fans in THEIR house and NOBODY teaches that clown some manners even though was begging for a lesson?

I don't know what to say....

You can't find snowballs inside the stadium :laugh2:

How was it when our offense was out there? I realize like you said, they can adjust the crowd volume but I noticed it seemed fairly loud when they keyed on hearing Romo's presnap cadence. I kept thinking damnit people shut up!
But that could have actually been the crowd quieted down. (?)

I was there at the game -- Section 439 Row 29 Seat 20 (one row from the last). If the stadium was open I would have been the first to know if it rained.

The steps are steep but it makes for decent seats even in the nose bleed sections.

The crowd was quiet during our offensive possessions. It was very loud when the E-girls had the ball in the first half. After that not as loud.

Later.

Cowboys fans for the most part aren't pieces of trash like many Philadelphia fans are. Who on earth would want to take a chance on getting thrown in jail and missing the game over a drunk stupid Philly fan.

Some things just aren't worth it. I'm glad Cowboys fans showed more class than he could ever think of having.

I'll have to disagree about the crowd -- I thought it was very good, especially early on when the game was still close -- but we'll leave that argument for a different day.

Anyway, I must have been sitting in the section next to you, because I saw that whole thing as well and took some video of it. The guy was being extremely obnoxious and was clearly trying to start a fight with anyone around him who was willing. It was good Security got him out of there.

If you're there next week, pop on over to 443 and say hi. :)

I agree I was there to and it was loud! I still would like to hear a pin drop when we are on offense though.

It was pretty funny actually. When we broke the huddle, the crowd would begin to get pretty loud, then all of a sudden come to a hush. It's as if there were enough smart fans in every section to start yelling at the other fans to shut the hell up.

So Phil Simms is right and the apologists are wrong?

This season must just be absolutely miserable for you since nothing you've said, claimed, or thought so far has bothered to come true for you.

Your QB isn't missing TO like you thought.

Your man crush Brady Quinn couldn't put up the numbers Romo does.

Now, since none of the doom and gloom you were just so certain was going to come, you're resorting to having to latch onto Phil Simms nuts.

Well, no offense, but you'd have to be a friggen moron to willingly choose to sit in those seats if you had better ones.

That's because the PA system was playing "Let's Go Cowboys" by Los Lonely Boys. :bang2:

They need to be playing "Silent Night" by the guy who wrote silent night.

Is it safe to assume you are out of the prediction business because everything you have said this year has proven to be wrong? Or are you predicting another loss this weekend also? I really hope you are picking us to loose.

I thought the crowd was pretty good sunday. Best since week 1 for what its worth.

However I expect a great crowd saturday night. I have a feeling its going be a great great crowd.

By the way trent cole was just on with bad radio and he laughed and said the crowd wasnt loud at all and then said atlanta was louder????????

so whatever.

Even some of players when asked about the crowd said this exact thing after Sunday's victory. Not sure what the deal is here; maybe you cannot get a feel for the noise level being in the nose-bleeds?

Don't call them nose-bleeds.

They must be the best seats in the house or why else would someone who has a luxury box right next to Jerry's choose to sit there.

In all seriousness, I think they are some pretty good seats up there.

Right above where I sit is the box where a lot of the scouts sit.

You really can't beat it when it comes to having a good view of the whole field.

I love the kid in the Staubach Navy jersey. I was going to buy one of those recently and I talked myself out of it. I wish I hadn't.

My first post in however many years I've been lurking here;

1. I'll get this out right away - I am an Eagles fan.

2. I'm not here to start trouble, as evidenced by my long time lurking, no time posting.

3. This poster is totally wrong. That stadium, as much as I hate to admit it, was LOUD. I was lucky enough to be on the sidelines for the game (friend of the family) and it was so loud that my ears were ringing and I could not talk to the person next to me without shouting.

4. That stadium is amazing.

5. The Eagles fan who got arrested is a ******bag. I don't know him but if I did I would kick his ***.

crowd seemed insane on tv. I'm excited to get in there on saturday. based on the vids it looked like there were plenty of eagles fans in the house. i'll be curious to see if they have the guts to show up again this week. it's probably gonna be ugly though.

their fans are total jerks. not in the least surprised that some ended up arrested.
