Who never heard of it? Its all the rage.:D
You're contradicting yourself.

He doesnt like loosing, no one does.
Can't be much of a rage if no one likes it.

I bet TO does hate losing though. ;)

Ok who yelled at their spouse, children, dog, boss or coworker today? Heck, throw in any mild road rage as well.

Come on people. Fess up.

Jeez, get a life. Who gives a crap?

In fact lets report TO's bowel habits as well speaking of crap.

Might as well.

Wonder if he is regular?

The media wouldn't need to report it unless I had a history of being late, being disrespectful to my coaches, teammates, etc.

My how the apologists forget to put the TO controversy in perspective.

I guess star-colored glasses aren't in short supply.

so if you have a history of it, is it really "news" when it happens???

my how the haters cling to their hate.

Yes, it is when he promises things are going to be different.

Then when it happens, it becomes a testament to every other coach who believes that a new environment is going to change as troubled a player as TO.

And you know what they say about history, not studying it and being doomed to repeat it. ;)

and so far to's biggest crimes are:
1) being late - $9500 fine. can you tell me how often *other* players are late and their fines or does your "givea****ter" only work when it's TO so you can go FOUL!!!
2) screaming "why did you bring me here!" i care about this more than lateness, medical issues and so forth - but this just happened so let's cut him some slack. after last week EACH AND EVERY POSTER IN HERE (well, 95% of them) were bashing drew - kinda unrealistic to think we can do it but if he does it's bad. i agree it's not very "teamlike" but don't make it more than it is.

let TO screw up - if you're right (and if i'm right as well, i hated the signing myself but i won't make things up) then he'll screw up on his own - this "extra attention" is only helping his cause, not the haters.

He was late (again) and insubordinate. He has packed a year's worth of troubles into a couple of months. He assured everyone at the press conference that he was a changed man. GOODBYE.

Taking a "dump" and venting with his position coach..TO is no saint but this is nothing...grow something larger than BB's please!! :laugh1::eek:

Oh, we're going to play this game. Goody. :eek:hboy:

Okay, tell me how many of those players who were fined yell at their coaches, publically chew out or blame their quarterbacks not on one team or two teams but three teams, who refer to their superiors that they're disrespecting them and they aint my daddy, who promise to be on their best behavior and yet find themselves always in trouble and who just can't keep their mouths shut even though they know it only hurts them.

Good luck. ;)

But it's TO. You're saying we might as well toss the word "reputation" out the dictionary. You know that word is there for a reason, right? ;)

Help his cause with whom? The Cowboys apologists who want to gloss over this in hopes that they can endure his antics because maybe, just maybe, he'll help the Cowboys win a Super Bowl.

Look, I wasn't for the TO signing either. However, when he came to the Cowboys, I was willing to give him a chance. But despite the media attention, which I agree is excessive, he simply has to close his mouth, say nothing and just do what he does best.

But nnnnooooo, he has to hold a press conference, say something that can easily be misinterpreted whether he intended it or not and then get on a radio program and say he can't "trust" his coach.

How are we NOT suppose to read something into that in light of everything that has gone on in the saga called TO?

I'm hopeful, but I'm not naive.

i'm not gonna sit here and defend TO to people who are simply on the warpath against the man cause it just WON'T MATTER A DAMN BIT what we'd say - it would just be some game of internet "tag" to you - so play on.

homie here has other games to attend to on a friday night.

Like I said let them yell- good way to release some tension.

Dude...have you ever been late before because you were sitting on the toilet with some stomach issues???

And if so, would you love it if the media knew about it and reported that you were late to work because of that reason to boot. :D

You know what, given his history, he probably was sitting on the toilet looking at his rolex going 'Damn, I am late, The medias gunna have a field day with this, me sitting on the toilet, late for a team meeting'.

Oh you gotta love an easy target. If your surprised that the media blew this up, I gotta ask, what were you smoking? His every step is wieghed, measured, and unfortunaltey found wanting. Tried and crucified in the press. And yet he keeps opening the door and saying 'come on Media, look at what I am doing'. If you know your living in a glass house, why are you gunna go around naked and be all surprised when pple see you naked. Ever hear the old saying 'If you find yourself in a hole, quit digging!' Neither has el dorado apparently.

Truth is its all shameless self promotion. Hes getting his name out there, Everyone in the world knows who el dorado is. He craves the attention and is not getting enough just being a Cowboy, he has to one up the Cowboys.

Haley and Keyshawn were made for each other. Todd could tell Key off and he'd get over it. Maybe even respect him more for it. The same kind of rapport Key has with Bill.

I'm not so sure that type of handling is wise for Owens, who has a notoriously fragile psyche. Bill hasn't been sarcastic or agressive with him, telling me he doesn't think Owens can flourish under that kind of treatment. From the reports, he doesn't bust his agates or ride him.

Owens said today after the blow up with Haley he apologized to Bill and Tuna pretty much said don't worry about it, go back to work.

Haley doesn't have Bill's high status so he can't afford to lose respect in his player's eyes - but he probably could have handled this one better, even before the 'leak'.
God I miss Keyshawn Johnson!

So what? They both tend to fly off the handle pretty easily. Let them yell. BP just about had to put a full nelson on Haley last year during a game. TO yells all the time. Let them yell.
It's not the yelling, to me at least, but what lead to it and what TO has said since that is the problem.
