We all know that with the question marks we have at left and right tackle he could get injured again
Do they sign a veteran former starter at QB or roll the dice in the draft ?

They said they’re going to draft one so I expect that along with Will Grier

Trey Lance wasn't a rookie draft pick. He was a veteran that we acquired in trade. That is not the same thing as drafting a rookie which is what I was talking about.

What has Trey Lance done in his NFL career that makes you think he’s a guy that could step in and start? You don’t think SF did everything they could to justify the trade by getting him to perform? Fact is the dude can’t play. Doesn’t matter where he was picked, how good an athlete he is, he is not a capable NFL QB. If he was he’d be garnering a lot more interest.

Even if there were 5 first round QBs it wouldn’t make sense for the Cowboys to draft one with Dak entering the first year of his contract. We can’t afford having the 12th overall pick carrying a clipboard until we’re ready to move on from Dak. The Cowboys are a struggling team with a lot of holes and their top pick has to start day one.
