I can't help but wonder what happens if Suisham comes in for a 35 yarder and yips it? We've already looked at the Kicker, the holder, and auditioned and found a new Kicker. What do we do if he doinks FGs too?

I don't think you can blame the snaps. They are dead money back to the holder. It isn't the blocking.

Part of me doesn't even want to think about this, but realistically, we have to. I don't believe in jinxes.

I think Folk's yips are from the surgery. I never had a lot of faith in Suisham when he was here before. I do like that he has kicked at Fed Ex for the last 3 years.

He was waived because he doinked a chip shot.

I just friggin' hate Kickers. We find one we all think we can rely on and he sticks a shiv in our backs.

I do every time one of these sawed off midgets doink one. The Offense kill themselves to get the ball in range and then they make it moot.

It bothers me a whole lot more when the Offense kills themselves to get in position and the Kicker gets credit for winning the game.

We either punt or go for it on every fourth down. I trust Romo more than stupid kickers.:D

While not arguing for kickers... as I think not punting is better than punting regardless of field position.

I think kicking is harder than golfing. To kick a FG, with 60,000 + people screaming at you.... all eyes on you... the pressure has to be daunting.

I think a kicker missing a FG has to be no different than a WR dropping a pass, an olineman missing a block... it is just more visible.

You know I am right there with you. Every big game loss that I experienced was at the hand of a sorry *** kicker. Missed PATs to tie the game, go ahead chip shot FGs, you name it; I imagine that I am not the exception either.

It wouldn't be so bad if they traditionally worked their *** off in practice but more times than not, they are the laziest sonofaguns on the team. They specialize in grab *** and sleeping on footballs while the team is running in 100 degree heat. I have no use for them and I wish they ban kicking from football and no I am not joking.

I think Sushi should be o.k., but if he does miss, I guess we'll go with Carney.

At that point the cowboys will have to understand that it is a weakness and will have to start game planning for it. Probably start going for it on 4th down or just punting.

Bottom line is that we hired a guy who was fired for missing a chip shot field goal in addition to other misses.

We basically hired a guy who is a little less worse than our current guy.

To be a playoff team and be this weak at kicker is inexcusable to me. How hard can it be to find someone who can kick reliably from 20-40 yards away?

Have we checked all of the Shop-Rites and Piggly Wiggly's for their produce clerks and night managers? Sheesh!

If he does miss one, hope it doesn't have any bearing on outcome of the game. If it did, I'm going to go ape****.

I really wish Folk would have worked out, but Sushi has only missed around 3 FGs all of this year.

I'm not saying he's going to work out, but 18/21 isn't too shabby given that we're trying to sort out this mess at the end of the season. We don't have that many options available this late in the year. But getting a guy who has been mostly consistent this late in the season is a definite positive.

This proves that you have no clue. If they grew on trees, everyone would have one. We went from having a probowl kicker to a scrub in the course of 1 season; there isn't any contingency plan for that.

Happy Thoughts! Happy Thoughts! Happy Thoughts!

Very true and realistic assessment. I wish more fans took this approach instead of the other realism that some like to spew.

Two out three kickers we had in college smoked. I mean what the hell and they wonder why we did not consider them a part of the team. Don't get me started on the coaches son who was my highschool kicker.

All we ask them to do is to kick the damn ball and none of the smoking and general sorry behavior would matter.

Hell most lineman I knew could kick chip shots. It got so bad my sophmore year in college that our freaking starting QB had to kick, which pisses me off even more about Romo holding, because another kicker who don't have anything to do during practice can't do it better. I mean damn!

I guess this explains why Rafael Septien and Toni Fritch aren't in your sig! :D
