So what happens now?

No real change. Quinn will move on because he chooses to, not because he is urged to do so. Dak will stay and continue to underperform in the playoffs. McCarthy probably gets another year.
DQ Where to? I posted last week I had my doubts about who really wanted him. Now there will be even less interest.

I think we are stuck with him

Run it back, with more unproven rookies, washed up cast-offs, inferior coaching, and the regulars.

If Dak is the future, then this fanbase will deaden to levels unseen before. This was a bad loss. Real bad. You could see it coming 3 minutes into the game. Then, to make matters worse, Dak took the field and you know the rest. It would be one thing if we fought a brutal game to the bitter end, but we got the snot knocked out of us by the youngest team in the league from minute 1…We have MAJOR problems and MAJOR hard and real decisions need to be made. Getting rid of fatso is not enough.

Doesn’t matter to me at all what happens next. I’m not watching again until they are actually in a NFC Championship game, have a real head coach, or have a new QB. I’m only still here now to see if either one of those last two actually happen.

We’ll probably be dead by then bro sorry

Nothing major and come next year this time, you'll be creating the same thread asking the same questions.

next? lol...Jerry et al have had the same speech written about for the last 30 years. "We made great strides this year, and lots of positives to take away. We think we have the right guys and right coaches here to take us where we want to go." Anybody want to disagree with this soon to be take from our esteemed ownership team?
Nicely said lol lol

What happens now is Jerry throws his urine-soaked pants in the laundry basket, pours himself a glass of Johnnie Walker Blue and goes to bed. Then he wakes up tomorrow morning and does a media tour saying how much he loves his team and his great QB, that they'll do better next year.
In a nutshell

What's your real feeling as to what happens now? Whose head rolls?
I don't expect much to happen. Quinn will be "urged" to leave, no attempt to get him to stay. Probably a few assistants will be sacrificed. I think McCarthy gets 1 more year. There will be some key players leave due to salary issues.
Just don't expect anything big. The cash will still pour in, that's all that matters.
You sign Dak and make him the highest paid player in the NFL! Makes a ton of sense.

I would expect a week to go by before you hear anything about coaches sans perhaps those interviewing for positions.

A part of me now thinks Mike may be back, but having Bill available may present an interesting opportunity for Jerry he may not want to pass up.
For better or worse, Jerry is loyal to his coaches and players, so like you I think there's a good chance Mike is back.

To be honest, I don’t even blame Mike. Every Jones roster of the last 15-20 years has been massively flawed in ways that don’t allow for contention at the highest level, and as long as Jerry and Stephen are calling the shots, it will likely remain that way.
100% agree.

But that's not hard to do, it's about as obvious as it can get...

What usually happens in situations like Dallas?

An assistant coach is fired, in this case probably Quinn, the head coach sticks around another year or two before he, too, is fired.

Now Jerry's an odd bird, might do differently, but if I was a betting man that's what I would expect....

Cut Dak, draft Bo Nix, have Lance and Nix compete, hire young coaching staff, and do a rebuild. Nowadays you can rebuild in a year. Look at Houston and Green Bay.
