So, which free agent WR can Jerry Jones replace T.O. with next season?

The contract that Jerry Jones gave T.O. has turned out to be brilliant. With 3 games left, now is the time for T.O. to put-up, and hopefully shut-up about how he's treated unfairly when he brings alot of the negative energy upon himself. Now's the time for T.O. to prove that he's worth keeping as a player. If he proves worthy by prodcing and taking us far into the playooffs, then it will be easy for Jones to keep him. But if T.O. proves unworthy from this point forward then Jones can dump him without sacrificing the cap. Under this second scenario, we would have a hole at WR to fill. So who in free agency will be available, should we need to fill the potential hole left by T.O.'s departure?

He isn't going anywhere... Bill will leave before T.O. does, and with Bill leaving, so does Zimmer, ultimately solving our problem of ignorant defensive play calling (Looks like we've never seen a wheel route before).

Between Ted Ginn, Calvin Johnson, and Sydney Rice one of those 3 guys will fall to us in round 1 and Jerry won't make the mistake of passing up on a stud WR again. Irony is this will be the 10th anniversay (1996 I think) of the Ellis over Moss fiasco.

and in retrospect, ellis is still in the league and randy moss isn't even on many fantasy teams anymore. moss wound up being what everyone said he was, a talented headcase who was mostly self-serving.

in the end, i'd say good call and it's worked out to our favor.

I don't know if he's eligible but Marcus Monk from Ark is one heck of a wr.

It's beyond me how people with so much talent and ability, who have a chance to be written into the annals of football history as the greatest at their position in a meer 10-15 years, squander such an opportunity.

Funny you mention him, I was at the USC game in Columbia where he lit us up for almost 200 yards. The guy just towered above USC's corners, I'm sure he is at least 6'4. I love Patrick Crayton as a # 3, but a guy like this has a lot more upside.

Well, I've seen Johnson and Ginn play and both are exceptional. Having said that, Dwayne Jarrett might be the best USC WR I've seen come out in recent history. Considering the talent at that position, that's saying something IMO. Jarrett is one heck of a player.

How about Gonzalez from Ohio St.?? He might not have the true speed of a #1, but he sure is productive. Guinn has the flash, but Mike G. produces!

Probably a result of all the attention Ginn gets, gets a lot of one on ones with # 2 corners.

I don't mind drafting a WR, but Terry Glenn is NOT a #1 WR. Personally, I'd like ot draft a future #1 WR that can start out by playing in Crayton's #3 spot, and I would rather have that with a free-agent veteran taking over the #1 WR spot next year. This team is playoff ready and can only get better next season, and I think playing a rookie at the #1 WR spot will only se the team back.

Its very unlikely that any rookie, let alone one drafted in the bottom half of the draft, is going to be able to come in fill TO's shoes.

That guy is awesome. I've seen him play several times. He also contributes on special teams. He'd be a nice 1st day pick. Do you know his 40 time by any chance?

Marcus Monk is listed at 6'6". He'll probably leave Ar after next year. Should be a nice prospect. I've seen many of their games and think he needs a little work catching intermediate passes(hard balls). I'd take him in a second.

here are your options at wr
1 Donte' Stallworth 6-0 196 26 Eagles 15 rec, 304 yds, 20.3 avg, 2 TD
2 Drew Bennett 6-5 206 28 Titans 25 rec, 379 yds, 15.2 avg, 2 TD
3 Ashley Lelie 6-3 200 27 Falcons 17 rec, 298 yds, 17.5 avg
4 Ernest Wilford (RFA) 6-4 223 28 Jaguars 20 rec, 273 yds, 13.7 avg, 2 TD
5 Bobby Engram 5-10 188 34 Seahawks 18 rec, 198 yds, 11.0 avg, 1 TD
6 Travis Taylor 6-1 210 28 Vikings 26 rec, 317 yds, 12.2 avg, 1 TD
7 Kevin Curtis 5-11 186 29 Rams 25 rec, 256 yds, 10.2 avg, 3 TD
8 Troy Brown 5-10 196 36 Patriots 24 rec, 238 yds, 9.9 avg, 3 TD
9 Drew Carter (RFA) 6-3 200 26 Panthers 15 rec, 179 yds, 11.9 avg, 2 TD
10 Mike Furrey 6-0 205 30 Lions 41 rec, 503 yds, 12.3 avg, 3 TD

i don't see anyone who is in the league with t.o. there, so either you draft a guy, move some of the young guys into starters, or keep t.o.
